Harder punishments needed for trolling

Today I had a match where Thresh build AD items, no support items and no vision, died a lot and said he didn't care.

I'm sorry but no. That person shouldn't be allowed to play the game ever again.

I strongly believe that intentional trolling in ranked should be subject to zero tolerance policy. Not only should the offenders account be banned, any accounts associated with the same email should be banned and any accounts associated with any payment methods on his account should also be banned.

This should be very clearly explained in an update to the policy so that existing players and new players know what kind of behavoir in ranked is not tolerated.

To me, this is not excusable. I can understand flaming, being toxic, upset, having a bad match, disconnecting because life happens etc. But not this. This has no excuse and these people need to not be playing ranked.

Riot, you claim that you read the boards. Well respond to this and tell me any good reason why this shouldn't be adopted as a policy.

There isn't anything wrong with off-meta builds or picks. This becomes trolling if they do it just to make people mad.

died a lot and said he didn't care.

First of all, I don't know whether or not this was a ranked game(if it's blind or draft, it's not a big deal), even if it was, if he's not obviously inting(which is different from just dying a lot) it's fine.

I used to play a lot with someone who went ad Thresh support. It worked quite well. I played TF adc and we basically both peeled for each other and did a bunch of dps, and we both made sure to keep vision up. Those are the kinds of ways you can help in a situation like this.

Don't assume that just because someone is playing off meta and doing poorly that they are trolling.

Personally i think your request is too unreasonable given that proving someone is trolling or legitimately trying to make something work, if he truly said he didn't care of gave up you can report it and move on. If he actually is guilty of intentionally throwing games becuase of his lack of concern of how the game plays out i'm sure it will show in reports and he will receive his punishment from riot.

meanwhile try to keep yourself from falling into toxic mode, i know sometimes i snap back at these players and it's not the right reaction we should have. goodluck in feature games
