Why can't mods just move the post instead of deleting it?

If it's just "wrong board" for the post, why not just reassign the post to a different board?

And if they don't have that feature.... why not make it?

They don't have the ability to, the boards do not support that function currently. They don't make it because of how low a priority it is; they have everyone on the LCU. Boards development will have to wait for that.

Boards is writen with html and javascript. Even if they dont have that feature it would take them about 5 minutes AT MOST to make it. Like many other things they have NO REASON not to make it, yet they chose not to.

EDIT: I take that back I guess it wouldn't take 5 minutes because of the process it would have to go through, but it would easily be less than a day, and the actual coding of it would only be about 5 minutes.

Just because something doesn't take long (presumably) that doesn't mean they should prioritize it. If they did that with everything that didn't take long they'd never get to more important matters.

It's been over a year since a red said this would be addressed. I agree with your thought here but NOT in this case. It's been pushed off too long.

You are barking up the wrong tree. I have been a big proponent for boards development for a very long time. I am not saying they shouldn't prioritize it a little, I'm saying they aren't.
