No one on the team said anything to him. He took Flash + Teleport Started with Dorans then built tome without ever buying a t1 support item the whole game. Our mid lane finally asked "brand how come you don't buy a support item" He responds with "I don't get any gold if I don't take cs" Then he calls out our entire team "this is why I don't play ranked everyone is toxic"

Riot has an automated system on chat so why isn't there an automated system on passive-aggressive trolling? Off-meta is only off-meta when it's not an orthodox way of playing but it works. When you're consistently playing unorthodox and it does not work and refuse to co-operate with the team, then it's trolling.

There's no automated system for passive aggressive trolling because it's a lot harder for a machine to figure out what that is

Riot used to have an amazing system called tribunal. It had item build, champion played, chat log. All Riot need to add was video logs, pre/post game lobby and position queued. Instead of trying to make tribunal a better system, they decide to cut down on all the manpower which the players provided and use an inefficient system only able to catch bad words.

We have very different memories of the tribunal. I remember it as an extremely inefficient approach that handed out penalties very inconsistently, with a great deal of player bias. Thinking you could get players to honestly and capably review the vast number of games required would be absurdly optimistic. Especially since you're asking them to make judgements on things that can be hideously vague and subjective.
