Very Abusive Player

Hey guys, just thought I'd post this

I'm in a game right now with a Soraka that has told me to kill myself multiple times. I've asked the enemy team to report her for verbal abuse, but they all refused since it was not in all chat. Honestly, I'd like this to be upvoted so a Rioter could see this and take action against this player. I've asked my team to report her also, but she is playing with a few of them, so they won't report her. The reason this is on the boards is because I know that a player usually need 3-5 reports to get punished, and I don't believe this will be achieved. For any of those interested, I am playing Kindred, below are the timestamps for the 'kys', please note that saying kys was not the only verbal abuse delivered by her.

It only takes one report to trigger the system to review a player's game. Just make a note in the box post-game about exactly what happened. The system will take care of it.

The system is automated, 1 report will not do anything.

Sorry, but there have been many instances when similar things have occured and the player was not punished, i.e. int feeding, verb abuse, unsportsmanlike

You've seen many instances where the player was not punished immediately. That doesn't mean they're never punished at all, just that the game you reported them for is not the one that directly set off the punishment.

While I hate this guys overall post, what he says is true. Additionally riot's tribunal algorithm includes play time/day and RP purchases when evaluating punishment decisions.

What? I don't think I blacked out while writing the code and added additional random logic. Nope, just checked .. didn't black out. :-).

One report is all it takes to trigger a game review. There is no consideration for play time or purchases. Spending money in no way affects your ability to be punished.

He isn't "wrong," he is lying, and if you spend the time googling the CA high courts notes on the current litigation going on with Riot, you will find out Riot does in fact lie to their members about their tribunal system.

I am not acting like they dont understand their own code, although their own code is very inefficient and i am 95% confident they earned their degrees from universities which also educate students in underwater basket weaving.

I've reported several scripters who never recieved a punishment. I've also reported verbal abuse on several occassions. Only very rarely do these people receive a ban.

Obviously an automated system will have huge flaws. In this game it seems like a few unlucky ones gets banned, but the majority of the offenders are free to continue their harassment of other players.

Again, we understand you are paid by league of legends to lie to the public because as you know, you guys are being sued at this time and league of legends is doing everything in their power to prevent a subpoena from revealing that their code does infact incorporate RP purchase and the number of reports.

There are bad coders in this world, doesnt take a blackout to mess up.

There is never any need to ask anyone to report anyone else. Your report is all that is needed to flag the game.

The system looks at games reported, not at reports per game, so it gives you no benefit to ask others to report too, and incurs the risk of the person reporting you back out of spite.

edited to add by the way, remember that if you mute them after the first time, you won't need to hear any of the others. You can still report them after you muted them

I have 3 active accounts and if you doubt me I can add you on each of them. One of my FORUM accounts has a 1 day suspension for calling someone bronze and telling them to stop arguing with me.

I would not ever tell someone to kill themselves. But why do you need to make an entire scene out of someone saying something offensive? Did you use the mute feature? No you didn't
