League is a lot like school

You start a fight, you get in trouble. You get dragged into a fight, you get in trouble even though you weren't the aggressor or the cause of the toxicity.

Someone says to a tank "Can you please tank instead of building full ad?" and the tank says "So build more damage? Okay." then proceeds to troll. The entire team asks again for them to tank and they continue to not do it. This devolves into a lot of lost fights because of no tank on the team and finally someone snaps. "Reported" the 'tank' says.

Kinda doesn't make sense does it?

It makes perfect sense. You usually aren't "dragged into a fight". You usually choose to join the fight instead of going to a teacher/school officer and reporting the punches thrown at you.

Similarly in League, you are expected to diffuse the situation. Mute and move on. Or just don't say anything.

If you mean that League is like school in that a lot of immature grade-schoolers bring their toxic 15-17 year old conversations onto league and think it's okay, then yes I agree with you.
