Bronze Promotion Trolling

Ok, I'm in my 5th set of bronze promotion series. After my last series I decided to really pay attention. I've concluded that I'm being trolled by bronze players. For some background I had been on a massive losing streak after my 3rd promotion series because I kept getting paired with oblivious fucking teammates. This was until I found out you can get a reward for making it to gold by the end of the season so i sucked it up and went all in. I got a 10 win streak and was ready for a new series. check my history if you don't believe me. anyway I get my series started thinking wow this will be cake. no..... no it wasn't. All of a sudden my team mates in all my lanes were dropping like flies, I'm a jungler, They were so bad I couldn't keep pressure on a single lane long enough to do anything. Eventually we lost. Next game im pretty pissed because no one listened to me the last game. It goes really well, im fed as fuck and we have 2 inhibitors down and got 4 enemies down. We could have ended but the top lane and bot lane wanted to farm lanes and monsters for whatever fucking reason. 3 of us get killed trying to end other 2 die defending. GG. So i'm like what the fuck happened to my win streak? Next game Im staying calm about to go NFL coach on my next team if they fuck up. 5 minutes in we are killing it we are up and kicking ass. "A player has disconnected" Top lane ekko fucking leaves the game. We put up a hell of a 4 v 5 fight, but GG. End of series.

So I take a break and recover my sanity of being stuck in bronze another day. 2 games pass 2 victories earned ez pz. I get a free win from my last series im feeling good. Now brings me to my last game. I got a vayne top in champ picks im not to worried, about the matchup against Fiora, game is on vayne gets her ass kicked, mid lane gets his ass kicked, bot lanes gets their ass kicked before i could even clear one side of my jungle. So i said hey im late game i can still get this for us. I gank a couple lanes dont get shit expect my laners running after the enemy with low hp after i fucking leave. boom 2 more deaths top lane mid lane. At this point im committing to coaching us to victory. Game goes on we get 4 towers by the enemy making cocky mistakes. We are some how winning even though we are behind by 10 kills. So I have some hope I call for a full team fight we win it trading 1 for 3. we are doing awesome. Until top lane vayne and mid TF want to go fuck around instead going for objectives, both chasing enemies into blind areas and get killed. Bot lane cat is kicking ass getting towers solo as i go try and scare the enemies away with lux. back on track. Until lux get caught out vayne tries to 1 v 5 afterwards and gets 2 of them pretty low so i think fuck this might work. NOPE. i get annihilated as they save there fun abilities for me. I die cait dies tf is left. The snowball mid getting to base. Then they go for baron then gg.

My point is vayne and TF were absolutely oblivious most of the game, not grouping right away, chasing enemies, trying to fight 1 v 5. Stupid shit. Trolling?

So I ask is there a known behavior to troll someone in bronze promotions?

They only way those players could have possibly been troll you for being in promos is if you told them you were in promos. Otherwise they would have no way of knowing.

If you are tilting that could be a big part of it. Teammates respond poorly to tilted allies. Chances are your 'coaching' in chat may have been harsh since you were tilted. Gotta be careful of that, because that can lower team morale a lot.

If the team is not together for a play then you shouldn't try to make the play. When Vayne and TF backed off your team should have accepted that they couldn't safely push the objective any more and prepared to pursue other strategies. Split pushing or applying pressure elsewhere is a good tactic if one of your teammates goes off to farm alone, but you have to be safe about it, ie: ward, watch out for enemies, leave at the first hint of danger, etc.

I dont know about trolling you but I do wish that you wouldnt fail a promo if someone is inactive for >50% of the game. I believe this would address game rigging, and deal with low elo issue such as dc, high high ping, and trolling.

I got out of bronze 4 times this season because I kept getting demoted back into it. It was a fun experiment because I remember my first time getting out of bronze was soooo hard. Now since I don't even sweat it it's actually 10x easier for me to get from bronze 1 to silver 5 than from silver 5 to silver 4, simply because it was a milestone.
