PSA: A lot of kids play this game.

I started playing ranked when I was 12 in middle school, and I had a lot of friends of the same age that I played with. I was really bad at the time (500 elo) and I had a lot to learn and I did a lot of stupid things.

Especially in ranked, please understand that a lot of "trolls" or people who are really bad at the game are probably 12 or 13 a lot of the times. So you need to talk to them like they are 12. You wouldn't tell a 12 year old "go kill yourself" to their face, so don't do it in game either. Just be patient.

EDIT: I'm not condoning 12 year olds playing this game, I'm just saying don't cuss them out or try to realize they are probably just kids.

I wouldn't tell anybody to kill them self, but I sure as hell won't give special treatment to some 12 year old brat...

If you are nice to them they will probably be nice to you back. It's not rocket science.

And if they still aren't then just mute them. It's about being a decent human being. I know it's not a popular thing in this game.

lets take cs:go as example because it has voice chat... i never played it i just saw it on (smaller) streams. you enter a match and you die and you have a kid (12-13 years old) on your team and the first thing he says in voice chat is something like "omg you fucking %%% please go and die i hope your dad rapes you in the ass" you expect me to talk nice to this guy?

if someone looks like a nice person from the beginning im also nice to them!

well k thats not the problem for me im not flaming someone who just plays bad. unless he goes like 1v5 8 times in a row then i might tell him that he should stop that "bullshit play"

Yeah I remember being 20 a couple of years ago, I went to subway and there was this group of 5 little kids, probably not even in high school. They were all sitting at a table being loud with their squeaky voices lol. then I heard one of them say "I know twitch is just the best ADC... with infinite edge.... he can kill everyone!" (This was at a time when Twitch was pretty bellow average) And I just thought to myself "Oh yeah, when someone on my team is absolutely terrible and really immature. this is why. And that's just the way it is."

Yes, but it's really up to the parents to keep track of what their kids are playing. And some parents either don't care or don't have time to monitor the kids.
