How? (Rewritten Rant)
Note: I am not trying to appear to be condescending towards Riot in this post. I believe they do a good job of patrolling the game and keeping toxicity to a minimum.
Recently, I encountered two toxic enemies in a ranked match, whom started flaming my team and I, after I told them I believed we could still win the game, in response to a comment that one of them made after we won an important baron team fight despite being severely behind.
After taking their comments for maybe 5 - 15 minutes, I muted them.
In the end, we lost the game.
In the end game lobby, they immediately started flaming me and using homophobic slurs. I did not want to risk a ban by fighting back and so I just stayed quiet.
It got so bad to the point where one of their team mates had to tell them both to tone it down.
I then reported them and left the lobby.
Unfortunately, I was not thinking clearly due to my anger and forgot to take a screenshot
After reporting them, I waited and waited for a notification of punishment to appear. Those guys had clearly violated the rules, as calling someone something along the lines of a gay fuck is definitely not acceptable
However no notification did appear.
I then opened a support ticket and was informed that the situation would be looked into. It's been half a week now since the support ticket was opened and no punishment has fallen upon them.
How?
I'm extremely frustrated as these jerks got to escape punishment despite spending the entire game flaming my team and I.
P.S: Why does the mute feature not extend into the after game lobby?
