Here's something I don't get. People assume that if you make the game more forgiving, than people will try to be more aggressive in the early game. But that doesn't account for the fact that maybe they'll fight one time, and if they lose, resort back to doing nothing again. Since the game is more forgiving now, that One kill won't actually mean that much in the long term, resulting in someone not risking fighting someone who has a slight advantage, in favor for safe farm.
Where's the proof that making the game more forgiving, is going to out compensate the smaller advantage gained from getting an early kill? (If that makes sense.) If it isn't advantageous enough to get an early kill, why put forth the effort into doing so? If you do go for the aggro, and you get an early kill, what stops them from using the more forgiving game to null your smaller advantage by not engaging with you anymore?
