Honestly, banning someone's pick is just rude and you shouldn't do it.

cmon, a prime example is shaclone, he's a shaco otp and people always ban shaco when he's in a game just to mess with him, it should be reportable.

heres one example

I continue to say that banning one's own teammate is done much more commonly for troll value or by mistake than any real strategic reason.

Aeszarck6/11/2017, 8:02:34 PM8 votes

I don't care what stereotypes there are about Yasuo/Riven/Vayne/etc. players, I'm not going to ban my teammate's intended pick because of some stupid assumption that he or she is going to feed with that Champion or be toxic. I'd rather use a ban to take out a Champion I don't want to see my opponents playing than use a ban to piss off my teammate and make him or her play a Champion he or she isn't good at.

In Shaclone's case it's because people hate him, he's toxic even with Shaco.

Now on a more common reason, if I see my last pick wants a highly contested champ (Like Yasuo) I'm banning it, because I don't want to risk the enemy getting it.

Man, I love it when people ban Shaco. It gives me a chance to really hone in on my Soraka jungle.

Honestly, trolling because someone banned your pick is just rude and you shouldn't do it.

I always take kalista with smite and ignite when someone bans my pick. Although, I'm thinking of switching to kench so I go for a level 1 gank with whoever banned it by swallowing them and throwing them at turret.

Rainfall6/11/2017, 11:30:21 PM3 votes

unless its yasuo or lux support.

WiegrafOfValor6/11/2017, 8:59:06 PM3 votes

Nice try Yasuo

Lõyalty6/11/2017, 11:14:49 PM3 votes

Its pretty rude, but if your in a ranked game and somebody is hovering Yasuo support, I wouldn't judge you for banning yasuo.

So... pros should all be reported for banning champs their opponents are good with and have the most carry potential on? Think about what you are saying.

If you were suggesting people be punished for banning a teammate's desired pick because THEY wanted that role but said player would not trade, that's a different story. People who do that are immature, toxic, and need to take a break from the game. But banning an opponent's champ that they are best at? That's just logical - learn a few champs decently well like everyone else who plays the game and it won't be a problem.

Rocnation986/12/2017, 9:29:23 AM3 votes

i ban yasuo always.

I think I'm willing to ban trynd.

Tired of people first picking trynd without any regard of whether our team comp can 4v5, and then they get counterpicked in lane, screwing everyone over.

warpenguin5556/12/2017, 8:43:38 PM2 votes

1: you're right people shouldn't do that on purpose 2: Shaclone is a d-bag

Naz Von Gates6/12/2017, 12:33:53 PM2 votes

I just had this happen to me when I wanted to play yi jungle. Previous game I won, and his response was I didnt ban it, I didnt know you wanted to play. To which I honestly responded.. "I had him hovered, you seen I wanted to play him." then he truthfully responded with, "well, I dont want another afk farming master yi player in my game" People will always do this once in awhile.

Trashball6/11/2017, 9:33:24 PM2 votes

I primarily play normals, and I refuse to play against yasuo, because he counters most of my favorite champs and it makes me want to break my fingers with a hammer. If you hover yasuo, and you're not first pick, and nobody can pick him for you, I will still ban him. I'm not gonna avoid banning him and potentially have to start my personal dodge timeout just because some guy on my team wants to play him.

Granted, if the fella was first pick, or first pick was willing to pick it for them, then it's pretty rude.

korg0236/12/2017, 2:29:02 PM1 votes

That is why i never chose my champion before my pick timer. No one knows what am i going to play and i mostly play not op/meta champs so they are never banned.

WngNut6/11/2017, 7:43:22 PM1 votes

It was a Vayne main, I'm not surprised.

IA9hRfpP5q6/12/2017, 7:30:18 PM1 votes

Yasuo will always get banned. Just like I enjoy not playing against that unfun thing I like giving my opponents the peace of mind as well.

Synnx76/12/2017, 12:24:38 AM1 votes

Nope. It shouldnt I dont want neither Lee win or Yasuo or the cancer that you descirbed as shaco ( just played a game with him in aram) , just Q E -mouse over + click = dead So much skill involved in 0 counterplay moves.

One Ashe On6/12/2017, 5:23:29 PM

I don't mind my pick get banned by enemy team( Happened 2 time since start but still) , but teamate banning pick you intended just create toxicity where it shouldn't be before the game even start... that should be reportable and bannable.
