Our adc doesn't do well and they all blame me and start flaming
Jungler calls me a %%%got and tells the enemy team to report me for being a %%%got feeder
After game all 4 of them report me and I'm immediately banned because of the automated system that bans you by volume of reports and not by merit.

So do you maybe wanna fucking not ban the victims' accounts when they get harassed by groups of trolls? It's bad enough I have to lose LP because of it but now I gotta take a 2 week break.

Whether you get reported once or nine times in one game, it still only counts as one flagged game.

Nine games with one report weighs more than one game with nine reports.

You have to be reported in several games (or be severely breaking the rules and get noticed) to get banned or whatever. It doesn't take just one bad game, nor does multiple reports in a single game factor in it.

The only game the ban report quoted or even mentioned was the game in question. I haven't received a warning for my behavior in months.

The warning comes automatically based on being reported a bunch lately. You can think of it as being separate from the punishment system, since it doesn't verify reports or anything before it gives the message.

Honestly, after seeing many people post on the boards (only to get smited eventually), it seems like you just get the latest game you were reported in. Essentially "the straw that broke the camel's back."

It's supposed to serve, from what I see, as an example of behavior that is not okay. An excerpt, so to speak.

And you don't get banned off one game. I highly doubt you haven't been chat restricted recently, unless you were slinging around highly homophobic/racist/otherwise offensive slurs and making a fool of yourself. One game, a ban does not make.

And post your chat logs. Want to claim innocence? Show us the proof.

The chat logs have already been posted My last chat restriction ended in early January I have never used homophobic or racial slurs in the entirety of this accounts existence, every punishment I've received has been from a teammate performing poorly and blaming me, and I admittedly overreact to them trying to put their own mistakes on me. This was not one of those times, I did everything as peacefully as possible, I left the lane with the toxic player and got someone else fed and kept to myself as much as possible. The fact of the matter is that even if my chat log were blank they still would have reported me and I would have still been banned.

Those logs are not handling the situation "as peacefully as possible". Maybe that was you handling it as peacefully as you were able to. You could have simply said nothing. That would have been more peaceful. Instead, you struck back and that is what got you banned.

Their behavior does not excuse yours, no matter how much worse theirs was. You may have been reported by them no matter what you did, but had you not responded negatively like you did then you would not have been banned.

Don't ask people to report. Like I already said, only one report is needed for a game to be flagged, the overall number in a single game doesn't matter. Asking others to report is considered harassment.

Judging by the context, seems like everyone was a jerk in that game. But even if other people misbehave, that doesn't excuse your behavior. Mute, ignore, whatever you got to do to finish the game with jerks, but don't be a jerk yourself.

As everyone else already stated volume of reports don't affect whether you get banned or not. I look forward to you next thread about how Riot's system doesn't properly detect toxic behavior

Considering that I got banned for getting called a %%%got and a feeder nonstop for 30 minutes and the 4 people doing it didn't, I would be right in doing so. The only thing wrong I've done in this entire situation is expecting the boards community to not be hypocritical and harass me for pointing out an error in the system.

You didn't get banned for being harassed. You got banned for doing the same thing to the other people.

Indeed it would be the "correct" complaint for what you described. Although I think it's kind of a silly idea to post a complaint and expect people to sympathize when we have no evidence either in your favor or against you. It becomes your word against theirs and since we've known Riot for longer than you we naturally side with them until proven otherwise.

Post your logs so we can see what you said. Most of us have seen far too many people try to claim innocence when they're as bad or worse than the people they are complaining about to take your word this was a false ban.

Firstly the volume of reports do not matter, especially moreso if players use it to spam report other people without those having done anything wrong.

What bothers me is however that you are at what you claim '2 weeks vacation' meaning you've already had two previous chat restrictions meaning the err of 'false positive' is over since you're consistently or extremely toxic enough to warrant a Tier 3 punishment.

Regardless of past behavior, if I didn't do anything in the game in question then I shouldn't have received a ban. And I can't post the entire chatlog because it only shows you what you said in the game, which opens up an entire new realm outside of the one you're in where people can further take things out of context.

You're right. A report should first trigger a review of the game in question, and only if you are found guilty should a comprehensive review take place. It doesn't seem fair to ban someone off a review triggered by a false report. However, that's not how the system rito made works for whatever reason.. And, most people who "dindu nuffin" actually retaliated, which, for whatever reason again, rito thinks is just as bad...

This already is how it works. Reports only trigger reviews of behavior and those reviews are triggered based on reported games, not volume of reports. If only one of them had reported you the result would have been the same. You were banned for what that review found, not that 4 people reported you.

You should have been emailed chat logs and you should be able to see some when you log in. Would you mind posting them.
