Should burn in the deepest pits of hell. That is all. I had to dodge for the 7th time today because of this.

While I don't particularly care for people banning other's pick intent (though bans always trump pick intent, it has to be said), it should also be said that people who want to be one-trick ponies...Should at least have one or two back-ups of a similar kind to the Champion they intend to one-trick.

You only hinder yourself by having one Champion that you play exclusively, especially if that Champion happens to be a new release or otherwise contentious pick. And with 143~, I think, Champions in League's roster now? I find it really, really hard to believe that you can't possibly have a back-up for any given Champion.

Then don't be an OTP. In a format where banning is a thing, you have to expect that your pick will sometimes be banned. Especially if it's a popular champion.

Learn backup picks. Easy enough. Minimally 2.

Didnt Yuumi just come out? Havent you played other champs before?

You need to realize that theres always a chance for your OT to be picked or banned in every game and I recommend having at least two back ups. ESPECIALLY if your one trick is a new champ or OP champ in the right hands (like Yasuo for example).

From your name, I'm going to make an educated guess and deduce that you're a Yuumi one trick. Speaking strictly on the topic of her, yeah, when a new champion is released there will always be people banning them for a variety of reasons. Give it time and people will most likely stop insta-banning Yuumi and things will go back to normal. It's happened with every champion release so far, it's to be expected by this point.

On the topic of OTPs in general: That's just a risk you run when you put all your eggs in one basket. Most people OTP a highly contested pick (like Yasuo, Katarina, in this case it would be Yuumi) and someone will inevitably ban them regardless of your pick intent.

The side effects of being a one trick.

Plus how do you become a Yuumi one trick whe. She just came out? You must have been playing other stuff before.

Don't play Yuumi in ranked, I don't want you on my team. I have every right to ban who I feel like banning. Don't be a OTP if you can't deal with the target bans.

I'll be honest. I hate this too and have dodged games because of it, but Yuumi is honestly pretty terrible overall except with certain picks against certain picks in lane. Her win rate is abysmal even among brand new champions (Worse than Orrn was at his launch and his early performance was probably more attributable to lack of understanding).

Thus in most cases, yuumi is getting banned because nobody wants to play with one, not because she's too good. She has a high ban rate for a champion with such a low win rate. It isn't just because you've hovered because I see her banned a lot even without hovering it.

Choosing or banning a teammates hovered pick can be punished. We have examples of this.

Any in-game choice/action can lead to punishment if its done with a bad intention.

Devious intent is punished, not specific actions.
