For those who wonder how long it takes to climb honor levels.

I was banned for intentionally feeding two weeks ago and was unbanned just today. This of course has landed me at honor level 0, locked honor. So every time i Progress somewhat, ex, my honor unlocks, I go up a checkpoint or honor level, I will reply here with how long it had been since the last one. Hopefully those players who have been punished or who are simply curious can venture to this post and learn something about the system.

Date started: June 3rd, 2019, 12:20 pm GMT. Honor level 0, locked.

June 15th, 15:55 pm GMT. Honor level finally unlocked. Time taken: 12 days, 3 hours and 40 minutes. (Keep in mind it was a ban for intentional feeding. so a punishment for chat related offenses might not take as long.)

If you’re going to post updates like that, you should include how many games you’ve played as well as the amount of time since your last checkpoint. For science.

Last year i got 14 day ban in March and from locked honor 0 i went to honor 2 from March 24 to late August-early September- Aproximately i played 200 Arams, 100 normals, 100 Ranked and 150 into bots in SR. So ARAM took me on avearge 15-20 mins to finish, 10-13 min on average vs bots and normals/ranked took me 30-40 mins to finish. I ended last season honor 2 3/3 checkpoints ( when i was banned i was honor 3 1/3). Aproximately that much games it will take you +-150.

Might as well put a date on these post, otherwise everything will just show up as "2 months ago" or something like that, even though there was 2 weeks difference between each checkpoint.

But just a heads up; theres a LOT of behind the scenes factors that plays into whether or not you actually go up in honor, such as negative behavior that is too light to punish but too significant to reward.
