Toxicity, Soft Bans and Equality
So I recently started playing League Of Legends again because I just wanted to give it another shot. I honestly don't know why I did, the game is repetitive and annoying because of the players. I started up a normal game because I just wanted to have some fun and I went Skarner top (yea I know it's dumb but just kinda wanted to try it) and we had a Shen on our team who was duoed with someone (you could tell because they were in the same club.)
So in champ select they started flaming me for honestly no reason, getting mad at me because I picked Skarner top which I honestly didn't think what that big of a deal... So I'm just going along with the game and I'm not doing so hot. I ask shen for some help then he says "I'm not helping someone who is 2-4" which I found to be quite unnecessary but understandable. later on they're team fighting and i'm split pushing top which I could do because I had triforce and etc.
Him and his duo just continue to flame me because of me split pushing but I can't do team fights because I'd just die more and get nothing out of it. So I keep split pushing top and I'm still getting flamed the whole time so I get a bit mad and tell them to "stfu" which I know isn't the best response but is still annoying. I get flamed more so I just mute then. then they start spam pinging me 24/7 which got me upset because you can't stop that.
After I split push in top lane and get an inhibitor I decide to unmute them to see if they actually grew up a bit. still flaming me then decide to go in all chat and say "report skarner for toxicity" and the enemy zilean and other enemy says "yea sure" when he himself hasn't even seen the chat or anything since I wasn't even talking in all chat to begin with. so later on that day I get a notification when I try to log on saying I have been soft banned for 2 weeks when in all reality I myself was just trying to play a normal game of league of legends.
So because I picked skarner top I get reported by 4+ people when all I wanted to do was play a league of legends game. I have been toxic in the past but I got so used to people being toxic I kind of just don't bother talking to them unless they continuously do it. I still do not think I should have been soft banned for something that honestly wasn't even my fault.
