And I checked his match history, and one of yesterday's afk's has plenty of games played since he left mine. So whatever Leaverbuster and Riot's moderation team are supposed to be doing, it isn't working.

If it's working properly or not will be a question for us to wonder & them to know, but what we do know for sure is that whenever they'll get caught their chances of ruining more games will be drastically reduced! [slayer-jinx-wink]
AFKing is an automatic thing. It's not from reports. Once you leave a game it dings the leaverbuster. It takes a few games for it to dish out a punishment because real life issues do come up. A family emergency, internet going out, and etc. Starts off with a 5 minute wait to queue up and goes up from there if it's continued.
