(supposedly) reported for fleeing when their inhib fell

Once upon a time about 10 minutes ago, I was playing Yi jungle. My team begins to push mid, so I join them. The inhibitor falls, but I see that my team was low on health (whilst my opponents had most of theirs), so I flee. It take the rest of the team ten seconds to realize that they had a disadvantage, and decide to flee as well. By that time, it's too late, they're dying. Do they learn from their mistake? No. They make conspiracy theories that I set them up to die. Now every player is mad at me, telling me how much I suck, and trying to convince the other team to report me.

Sometimes, I look at people like Tyler1. He is as toxic as they come (and I can't stand his personality), but he has many valid points. He hates the game, but since he's addicted, he can't quit. He complains about the balance of champions and items, he complains how easy it is to troll without detection, and he complains how easy it is to get punished just by calling out said trolls. This is the state of the game. Everyone hates each other and it's damn near impossible to have fun playing the game anymore.

"Oh he's just in bronze, his opinion doesn't matter. I'm an egotistical prick."

Final note: I know I would be lucky to have this stay up two minutes without people flooding the thread with downvotes and arguments like "you're wrong because you are." I don't care, I need to get this off my chest, and the few open minded people left need to see this.

Get me out of here.

why would it matter if people reported you?

Reports do nothing to you if you did nothing wrong. The system has the capability to filter out false reports and false reports are thrown out.

Even if the report is valid, 1 report = 9 reports. The system is purposely programmed that way to prevent premades from abusing that solo guy.

You're wrong.

You're wrong because you didn't type "/fullmute all" at game start.

A person is generally smart. But group them together and then they lose most their higher brain functions and succumb to the pack mentality. When one person starts up, everyone chimes in. It's one of humanity's greatest flaws.

Doing or saying stupid shit because other people are doing or saying stupid shit and all without thinking for themselves. Because it's easier to just play follow the leader than to live as themselves, true to themselves.

And most who dare try break the mold are then made into a pariah, an outcast, and are ridiculed for behaving differently from those who've chosen to follow the norm and step in line with everyone. It's the same with league as it is with life.

And the best thing any one of us can do to block out the toxicity and unprovoked hate is to ignore it so that it does not affect us in any way. We must immunize ourselves to it so that we can be individuals...humans...and not pack animals.
