Bring back the tribunals

Please bring back the tribunals. I know you guys probably get thousands of reports a day and can't sift through them all to be highly effective even with a bot to detect certain words or game dynamics that could be considered scripting.

They said they were going to be working on a new tribunal incentive the new client was up and running. But honestly despite what some people think, the tribunal wasn't all that good. As someone who used it regularly I mainly saw people just abusing it. At first they rewarded us for getting the correct judgement (either pardon or punished) this lead to people not even looking at cases and just auto punishing it. Then once they stop doing that rarely anyone used the tribunal which also lead to getting disbanded.

In my opinion they shouldn't be rewarded people period. While it is a nice gesture until people actual use a feature without abusing it. This way the people who sign up for this and use it regularly will prove that they want to help improve the community and not just doing this to get something out of it!

I like the tribunal. I tried to use it the best I could and I'm sure when Riot does finish it and let us sign up for it I'll try to sign up the moment they let us and hope to get in. As far as I know they do want to try and write people who actually want to help in it, mainly positive people. I would think anyone whose been punished won't be accept just for the fact that they would have a high chance of just signing up for the tribunal just to "get back" at the community. And that is obviously something we don't want!

Then the community can't complain about punishments anymore since it's decided by them [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Let's remember: The tribunal was only for edge cases. So major toxic cases were handled by hand and now the bot handles them. And if they bring the tribunal back, the bot will probably continue to handle major toxic cases.

They probably won't have feeding cases on the tribunal, given they'd have to give us all the metrics, but that'll have to be seen.

The tribunal will never handle scripting cases.

Edit: and the tribunal was very slow and inefficient.

I... actually read the transcripts for fun... The toxicity was sometimes hilarious and witty. Still brought the punishment if it was toxic though -- no matter how funny.

It's all automatic now, I don't think employees do reviews on any cases unless they have special circumstances.

What if toxic people start becoming part of the tribunal and ban indiscriminately all forms of play, even if going 3/7 wasn't intentional?
