someone steals my assigned lane, no punishment...

Hi all,

I'm not really sure if this is the right place to talk about this, but since I feel like my report did nothing I really need to share what happened in my last game.

To set the scene, I worked hard to get into my promo and I am ready to kick some butt. Lucky me, I'm top lane and will be able to play my best champ. But, along comes summoner3 who was apparently auto filled to support. He decides, after seeing me hover kayle, that he will ban kayle. Ok. Well, I have other top champs I can play. I then realize he'll be able to pick before me in draft and will probably take my lane (which he promptly does. and makes his point very rudely in chat as well)... What am I supposed to do in that situation?

I have no recourse except to dodge (which I think gives auto loss in promo) or to report him (which I did, but I just don't think its enough).

I honestly don't know what to do, because this scenario is totally out of my hands. I probably should have just dodged, but considering I'm in promo I didn't want an auto loss... so I'm forced to take support. Don't get me wrong, I play a lot of support and don't mind playing it at all. It's the fact that some summoner can come along, steal my lane, and leave me with no real recourse (except to penalize myself or give a singular report that won't do much in the end). I'm at a loss as to what to do. I asked for help reporting him after the game, but of course, the other team won't help me out, and my team either forgot or left post game lobby before I could remind them.

It feels good to share this lol, because that whole situation made me feel like crap.. if anyone has suggestions as to who to talk to, or what actions I could take, that would be awesome.

The system currently doesn't provide feedback for role stealing. So of course you'll never know if they got punished.

Say fuck you bitchboy, and you waltz right up that lane.

Never give these people what they want, then they feel more entitled to do it the next time.

let me fix Kei143's comment, "The system currently doesnt punish offenders for role stealing." and if you think I'm lying write down their name on a piece of paper, and follow the dates on their match history.
