Who's at fault?

I'm shaco and asking for a leash. Placed first box on golems at 50 seconds and 2'nd on red buff. At this point i've asked for a leash twice but my bot lane naut has decide he want's to bush camp bot lane and told me "You're shaco you don't need a leash", My Miss fourtune decide that the naut was correct in saying I am not worth of a leash because I am playing shaco. I proceed to get upset don't type anything except "you'll regret this choice" or something and proceed to mute the naut and his duo queue. 2 Minutes in first blood enemy bot lane and my naut is dead in river, meanwhile I struggle with golems. Am I at fault for expecting a bot lane after being asked to help TO HELP or is he at fault for being ignorant and not a team player? I'm asking because half way through the game I noticed the enemy team talking to someone I couldn't see low and behold it's naut asking for the enemy team to report me, I'm positive I didn't type anything to get myself in trouble because I knew from the start that they were already tilted about being in their support role and that there was no way for me to get them to help me, but i'd like to know a better way to handle people like this. I muted him and his friend but for some reason the top laner agree'd with the naut saying I deserved to be banned and that he would report me for "over reacting" at not getting help level 1. When in reality all I did was mute the duo and continue to struggle through my jungle. Admittedly I didn't try and I did play the game half assed but not to the point that I was ignoring people intentionally feeding or BM'ing the team. I personally find it hard within myself to play with people who act like this, at the end of the day we're all here to play the game and people who act the way the naut did belong less in the community then the people who BM.

Shacos don't need leashes -_-

Also, when I'm jungling, I never expect people to leash me. Its a bonus, but not a requirement.

If I can't solo clear with that champ, I don't bring him to match made games (unless its things like rotating game modes).

Its the same for demanding blue buff as a mid laner. Not a requirement for the jungler to hand it over. Its nice though.

Its also not a requirement for junglers to gank lanes. Counter jungling while leaving wards everywhere is a fine tactic as well.

They didnt say you dont need leash because "you are not worth of a leash" but because generally Shaco doesnt need leash. Their mistake was to asume that you know how to play Shaco, you should have told them that you are new to that champion and that you really require help.

Strange, when I have Shacos on my team they shoo me away from leashing :/

if you didn't break the rules, you won't get punished even if they report you. they should have given you a leash, but you also should be able to jungle without one, no matter what jungle you play (like j4 or voli or kindred, not something like soraka jungle of course).

I personally think it' just to the point that the riot has quit caring about small issues like this and will just continue to let people act and behave like this while banning and punishing players who actively engage in discussion on issues like this in a manner that is disapproved by someone. I remember playing league when you could play 10 games without encountering a toxic individual now passive aggressive things go unpunished and are apart of every game. No wonder people get toxic.

So that feel i'm getting is "Don't rely on your team" Sad to see that's what we've come to Season 6 of league. Change your personal play preference to compensate for players who don't care to help.

Generally I see a lot of shaco's not need a leash...

But have you ever seen a LCS player double leash, or give red/blue to another lane at start of the game?

You're playing Shaco, the one champion who doesn't require a leash, and you're blaming your teammates for having a higher knowledge of Shaco kit more than you do.

If you wanna make out a plan, at least don't keep quiet about it. All I see in this thread is you making a quick assumption of your bot lane's behavior due to your quietness.

They should not have been rude too you, BUT

Shaco doesn't actually need a leash, you start boxes and as the spawn timer is going you place 1 every chance you get BEHIND ONE of the camps (back of their campsite).

This way you can have 3-4 boxes attacking the red buff (or blue, usually red though), applying the early back stab damage and when the monster turns to deal with them, you attack it from behind

At the end of the day, they are at fault and you did the right thing.

And try out the Shaco method next game, no leash needed I guarantee if done properly
