Sensitive League Players

I've encountered so many league players who get offended and upset over nothing and i'm tired of being punished because I respond to and address people who are negative toxic or ignoring the team. It's a video game that requires interaction with your team mates. I've found that after countless games played that the easiest way to not get banned not get muted and not get reported is to never type. You can be and play as negative as you want just as long as you don't type and interact with any of the other 4 human beings you're forced to spend time with. I've quit and returned to this game countless times only to find nothing has changed instead gotten worse. Trolls, bads and tilted children (most likely adults) will always ruin the environment and games of the people forced to play alongside them. I don't understand why silently ruining your team mates games will go unpunished while engaging and bringing to light what people are doing to ruin your game experience is punished. I'm sure that people will down vote saying that i'm just angry toxic and deserve to be banned but they are the problems because they will not open the discussion. If you queue a league game you have one of two intention to win or to have fun. When you're restricting someone from being capable of winning because of something you're doing you need to be addressed. When someone is doing poorly in lane and typing asking for help 9/10 times one of the four players will make a comment intended to tilt that person into raging and potentially getting themselves banned. (because a silent feeder goes unpunished) Players actions effect the way they interact with each other and riot doesn't have any way of recording this so they default to chat logs. Riot loves banning people because they just remake and refund an account where as the person doing the reporting is just looking for a way to cope with his loss. Blame isn't enough when you can potentially take someones account away for the way they spoke to you. Referring back to me quitting/returning I've noticed that most recently it's been as easy as ever to get reported by someone and to get someone reported. Hive mind is also something terrible about the report system I've had countless games where because I was stomping someone in game (in lane gold wise) They'll join in the hive mentality of reporting me because some player asked in all chat. My end point being riot's report system has and always was a failure but has progressively gone more and more downhill as the system remains unchanged, I personally don't see riot changing it anytime soon either, they most likely make thousands of dollars daily from banned players remaking their accounts no incentive for them to stop the cycle of toxicity.

Been playing since Beta, I type plenty in chat, team and all. Never even gotten a warning.

What do you think I'm doing differently from you?

This paragraph looks so disgusting without proper spacing. Anyone who does read this will need some aspirin for the headache they'll get.

It's apparent that the OP is either in Middle school or Just starting high school where proper grammar has yet to be taught. Don't worry too much about their grammar. (Excuse me if my statement is hurtful, but that's my educated guess.)

Now, on to my reply...

Got a real touchy, fleshy player? Shake some salt on em! (Just tell them to shut up and play the game, and to mind their own business) You're getting ticked off at your team mates? Then do your own thing...do some JG, Kill the Dragon, Rush a lane for the minion kills and gold. Rush another lane's weakened enemy and get the kill for yourself.

Going on nearly 5 years now, I've never received the slightest punishment from Riot. It's exactly as easy as controlling your frustration at other players and finding better things to do with that emotion. Play your best, certainly, but don't get so emotionally invested that a mistake by you or someone else can send you over the edge and make you blow up at others.

Don't waste your breath here man. The only people in these forums are paid employees and justice warriors.

I do feel your pain and can relate. Not sure why they can't just make it a "play at your own risk, they're just words". People will always flame and be negative. You also have the people that entice you to flame and get no punishment. LoL is the only game I've ever played that is so trigger happy to paying customers.

Stop caring so much about chat. Youre getting all serious over toxicity and it triggers a response from you, and you call THEM sensitive? We're all sensitive dude. Its called being human. (Sorry if im off topic, I didnt read that wall of text, but im sure you dont care because you are not sensitive at all)

Are league players too sensitive? Yes. But that's okay, dude! They have the right to be sensitive and get offended and triggered by stuff! League needs to be a safe space for these people - a game that they can come to and spend all their time on feeling safe and secure and unjudged and untriggered and free from all stress and worry.

If League is their safe space, then they'll spend all their free time here, and we won't have to actually interact with them in the real world at work or school. Play along with them and coddle them here and be free from them out there where it really counts.
