Why do people give up so fast? Is there some psychological reward to it?
Often, it feels like a race to see whom will give up first. I don't have to explain it. You know what I'm talking about.
It is incredibly rare that I agree with a Surrender vote, much less start one. The thought of surrendering early is almost unthinkable to me, but people do it all the time.
The last time I, personally, voted Surrender because I thought it was hopeless with 15-1 against us, we ended up winning anyway. Go Silver.
But why do people seem so quick to say "I'm done" or "gg" when it very obviously is not the end of the game? What's the mentality behind that? What's the point of giving up and voting surrender when it's obviously not even close to decided? (Especially in low elo where people legit are capable of throwing completely regardless of how ahead they are.)
