With mics possibly being opt-in only, I would like chat to become opt-in too

Mics could be on their way to League and from what I've read, they would become opt-in only if so.

Therefore, I am making the request that chat becomes opt-in only too. I don't want to participate in, nor see chat.

Chat should become opt-in only. This would lessen the number of reports and this would allow players who do not like to chat to not have to deal with it. I have requested Riot chat restrict me permanently in the past, which was denied, so I'm curious as to why this would be any different with mics.
