This game is insane to think a person can be group harassed and not say anything back

I've been punished and banned multiple times in this game over the years. My last 4 punishments, including my latest which happened today after a bad game, have all happened the same way:

  • We got stomped

  • The team decides I'm the cause of getting stomped

  • Get called a barrage of names from troll, toxic, feeder, to multiple **** words

  • Have multiple people asking for my report and calling me multiple names in the process

  • The other team then harasses me through all chat, because it's not enough to win. We have to abuse you as well.

  • Even if I mute, everyone is unmuted in post game chat. Why? I have no idea.

Now I know what's going to be said here:

My last 4 punishments have resulted from group reporting. Maybe it doesn't work and it's just luck, but this has happened one too many times now to be just luck. There's a trend and it's multiple reports from the same game = punishment.

If you can find me someone who can be harassed by 4 people at once and not say anything back and not be allowed to leave the situation because then they'll get leaverbustered and reported for AFK, I'd love to meet them. I should be allowed to leave a situation where I'm being harassed by multiple people. This is an awful situation and it totally favors the people bullying.

I have been keeping track and the last time I received a message that someone I reported was punished was in August 2016. I've put in close to a thousand reports, and yet nothing. Either these people are angels, this system doesn't work or I'm off my rocker thinking that being called names isn't worthy of a report. This makes me lose faith in the system and makes me want to take matters into my own hands, because there is no visible evidence that any report I put in means a single thing.

I've been through hell this morning and I've only played 2 games, including my first ranked game in MONTHS. I'm upset, I feel like I was successfully bullied AGAIN, and I don't even want to play because I just got destroyed and harassed so badly that I'm going to need to take a few hours off just to function properly again.

Theres a couple of things in game 1, but I don't think I said anything really that bad except for saying our team was bad, which includes me. I don't think it was any worse than a gg ez and it is nothing compared to what I was called. I was critical of our play, but any team is going to go "we didn't do this or this right" or sometimes just "we sucked".

If this behavior is worthy of a punishment, then everyone else should be punished as well.

Game 1

In this game, I was Yi Jungle. We were down 13-2 and just got destroyed, losing all lanes. The team decided to blame me for not ganking bot and I was determined to be the reason we lost this game. You can see me responding to the guy asking for reports and I got called multiple names here including a thot, troll and other things.

Game 2

This was in blind pick. In this game, Lee and another jungler fought over jungle. Lee then decided to go Lee support and took all of my CS, while I'm an ADC. The team defended this tactic and as you can see, I tried to explain why an ADC needs cs. I couldn't get any CS, so there was no purpose for me to be in lane, so I went in the jungle, since no one wanted to share their CS with me in any other lane. There's no report option for this and as I've stated, I have not been notified that any report I put in has been punished sinced August 2016.

Every time someone comes to the forums with this complaint and posts his chat log, the forum "discovers" that the reports are justified.

There is probably a trend and the trend is probably that you are flaming your team maybe with the idea that you are "defending yourself" or some other variant of the "he started it" excuse.

hi, nice to meet you. Welcome to grown up land, where we use the "mute" option when we need to, and are generally in control over our mouths. If you want to talk, add me ingame.

maybe stop submitting trash reports and focus on submitting good reports? stop reporting people who annoy you in champion select for "trolling" and people who are just doing bad for "feeding" just focus on reporting the obvious cases of verbal abuse?

I report quite a bit and I receive the "your report resulted in a punishment" message from time to time.

I feel like I was successfully bullied

two words: MUTE ALL. just that. You don't need to be part of communication that isn't bringing any value into your life.

All reports do is trigger a review of the game. There is effectively no difference between receiving one report and nine reports.

Mute them so they can no longer harass you.

Report them so they can no longer harass others.

AFAIK, you only receive a notification if your report was the last one to trigger their ban.

If they were banned due to a report in their next game, you wouldn't be notified.

You could just mute them and play. Then report. Works wonders. It's also possible (though not really useful) to respond without saying things that will get you banned.

Okay. Here's what you do. You take the anger you feel for those people. And you tell yourself, "I am going to mute them, not say anything, and report them, and they'll get punished." And you take that and let it warm you. Because if you don't say anything, you can be smug in the knowledge they will get banned and you won't.

The ultimate revenge. Your flaming doesn't nothing. Your report is the icepick in their side.

I can manage to not say anything back regardless of how toxic my team is. Who cares if they are asking people to report you, if you did nothing wrong the reports are worth jack. If they are insulting you and that crap just mute them, play the game out, and report afterwards.

There is no real reason to EVER get punished for being toxic in this game, if it happens it is generally 100% your own lack of self control. The best way to put out a damn fire isn't with more fire.

oh my what a ball of negativity you are. You spend the entire game in a bitch bitch bitch nag nag nag mode. So the team does poorly early game and idk what they told you but you go on a tirade that lasts all game about how they all suck and they all bad and they all deserve to lose and it never.fucking.ends.

The game hasn't even started and MR ADC is already bitching nonstop. why the fuck are you in this game anyway if you decide to be such a prat about it? I give you style points for threatening to AFK you know your tropes well good sir and are keeping up with the tradition...

seriously though what's with all the nagging man? You spent the entire game texting and not only you sound like a broken record your tune isn't much to begin with. You probably have good map awareness from all this looking at how people play so you can point out 24/7 how much they suck. I sure as hell don't want to play with someone who spends the whole game telling everybody on both teams how much everybody sucks.
