As the title says Christmas is here! My birthday just passed and now Christmas is coming! The season of giving, love, friendship and family what's more joyous than seeing a friend or family member happy after giving a gift of surprise! Well, I log in tonight to play some games and await the Snowdown and a friend that has been playing with me for around 5 months and we did ranked together, he messages me and says "We should gift each other for like surprise Christmas present" Since mystery skins are like presents you don't know what you'll get! I was suprised and thought this was a great idea. Well, being Christmas I put my faith in humanity and I gifted the 975 mystery gift. He received it and mentioned how much he liked it. In my excitement I say "Me next! :D!" Then he says "okay 1 second" I wait aroudn 5 minutes and nothing comes it says he's online though? Well, i wait 5 more and i realized he wasn't on my friendslist since i tried to invite him to a game to play with the new skin when I got it. Well he had deleted me right after. I'm not angry at him or anything but I'm happy even though he cheated me I'm glad I probably made him smile and I wish everyone a merry christmas.

P.S. This man/woman characters name is "BoNeSaWeR" in case any of you have him or know him to be prepared incase of rip off since this is a player behaviour thread.

Hey RendDuzit,

Mystery gifting was intended to be a one-way process meant to surprise a friend, reward good sportsmanship, etc. Mystery gift trading was never supported by Riot, and therefore, by sending a gift to this player and the player not sending one in return, no rules were broken and the gift was in fact a one-way gift to the other player. Remember, if you want to mystery gift trade, do so responsibly with someone you trust. Once a mystery gift is sent, there's no refunds or reversing!

Hence why I'm not mad I made the decision. The fact is trust which is why im saying it here. With a fun story on why. There is no law to lie to someone but when they do you trust them less especially around money. I wasn't expect any sort of refund just here to warn other players in case and to be careful! Have a merry christmas!
