Any ideas how to solve the "Inting " problem ?

I just played a game with inting guy , he was soft inting ( not running straight mid with 5 moby boots just feeding kills on purpuse while acting like he tries ) he ended 0/10/0 , he did not say nothing in chat , he wasnt toxic. Im 100% sure he will not get punished for this and this actually sucks , he ruined the game for 4 other players and he deserves some punishment even if it was his "bad day " it does not excuse his behaviour.

My questions are :

  • should there be another type of punishment for "one time " inting preferably smth like 1 day ban ?

  • maybe the system should be reworked because its effectivness is not so good ?

  • and maybe there should be smth given to guys that met inter ? i just lost 20 minutes and 20 lp and so did my team it sucks that one guy can ruin this much time for all of us ... maybe some i dunno higher ip gain or less LP loss ?

The system can detect soft inting too if the guy is flagged for it consistently enough. Sometimes people do just have a bad game where it looks like they're inting though.

Ive always had the idea of reporting somebody for playing bad (in ranked Q's) and if the get reported enough and consistently do bad and lose games, they get punished by having to play a certain number of non custom non RGM games on the map(s) they were punished for playing on.

so if you got punished for doing bad on SR you have to win unranked games on SR in normal draft blind whatever until you can Q for ranked again.

if you did bad on TT? same thing, if you do bad on both? you have to win games for both before you can return to each respective one.

On top of this idea there are several other QOL changes that could improve ranked -/remake being allowed if anyone leaves the game at any point in the game (in all games) -Preventing the usage of a champion that is level 3 or lower maybe? or level 2 or lower in champion mastery, in ranked -preventing the usage of newly unlocked champions, that one has purchased for at least 2 weeks (regardless of mastery level) in ranked -disabling newly released champions from ranked until they do a post release balance patch. -disabling any newly updated champions on the scale of a rework style update, until they do post rework balance patches, in ranked -sandbox mode -Requiring ALL players play and win at least 3 normal unranked games on the respective map they want to play, for every patch that comes out -hiding several secret codes in the patch notes unique to each player, that can only be obtained by reading the patch notes; these codes change every patch, you have to enter these codes before you can Q for any games -Adding more ranked game modes (I want ranked aram tbh) -removing autofill -allowing a flexible champ select Q: IE somebody refuses to do their role in select, you vote to kick them requiring 3 votes (to avoid the power of duos) and then players searching for matches get put into that select with you without exiting and having to re Q. -not matching you players that youve reported. -not matching you with players below your skill level while giving the enemy team the high skill level players

^This! But i doubt it will happen.

I see so much cases where a player has a full history of games where he intentional feed, and never a statement from Riot, just Volunteers (no offense) who say they will show it to someone and that Riot still has trust in the feederbuster.

i think accusing someone of inting should be a form of harassment, since it's an insult on their play.

it too should be a punishable offense. Moreso than someone having a bad day, in fact.

i dont think its as big of an issue or wide spread as people claim

does it happen of course... but truly how often? i would to see stats like if riot actually had a way to track it ( that means good software that was programmed in a way that could actually detect it )

i know ive seen it before but its truly far and between games that it happens in my experience... cant remember the last time i legit saw it...

Nothing will ever happen to the inting players as well as the AFK players. They will just get a warning and that's basically it. Riot will not do anything for the past years and will never do. Unless they hire new workers who actually plays this game then change will happen.
