Is this permabannable?

"Your family doesn't love you, and if you were my kid I wouldn't either" "you're a bad player, get out of my game" and consistent flame other than this.

I was permabanned for this and I really don't get it. These obviously aren't bad sayings, how could riot possibly justify a ban on this?

Edit: well these are words straight out of meteos's mouth. And we have boards voting in a majority saying that it's bannable, yet he remains unbanned.

The LCS players have some kind of protections against bans, so they can be toxic n insult pplz and remains unbanned. Their tribunal is corrupted.

You're asking a loaded question, because it depends on the player's current punishment level. That alone is not worth permabanning someone over. But people don't get banned for a couple instances of being toxic. They get banned for demonstrating a consistent history of it. If you're coming off a 14-day ban, that will get you permabanned because that's the next step. If you haven't, something like that would probably only draw a chat restriction, or nothing at all if that's the first time you've done anything.

Humans are biased, simple fact. That player should be banned, regardless of what League they're in or they're popularity. I believe that Riot is more lenient with pro players, but I also believe that pro players likely don't report others as much. However, if a streamer, then I believe it's worse due to the influence that can have on viewers who want to be like the person they're watching.

If that is consistent behavior..... then it will go through the punishment tiers and could result in a permaban....but not as a one time action.

It's one comment that should be reported and would be a red mark on Meteos account. However, that one comment alone isn't enough to warrant a punishment. It would take multiple steps for Meteos to get permabanned.

First, Meteos would have to consistently say things like and be consistently reported.
Second, he'd have to go through the various tiers of punishment (chat restriction, chat restriction, temporary ban).
Third, he'd have to continue acting that way after receiving each of those punishments.
Fourth, he'd have to continue to act that way after coming back from a temporary ban. Then, this comment would be reported, probably trigger a punishment, which in that case would then be permanent.

One comment (like that) from one game won't get anyone permanently banned. It wouldn't even get anyone chat restricted.
