Can this board decide on what's toxic instead of flip flopping?

One day 30+ people are saying that "ggez" "and "rekt" and "you're garbage" are bannable offenses, and to get out of their community because they don't want "bad egg toxic criminals" for trashtalking like that.

Next day everyone says "I'm not sure why you think people should be banned for simple trashtalking" "That isn't bannable" "you have a mute" "learn to use it"

Well that's exactly what I said after being banned for saying ggez, and trashtalking. My points exactly. Now there are posters saying it isn't toxic? That you shouldn't be banned for it?

It's pretty funny to get banned, then have someone else tell me that people shouldn't be banned for saying "gg ez" and "you're bad" and call me fragile for wanting them banned. But then I say it in a game and get permaed? and so have many other players?

This game and system does not run off of logic.

Everyone here needs to make up their mind on what's toxic.

I find that the people that are saying these are usually the ones that have been punished. This isn't the case all the time, though.

But there is a fine line between trashtalk and just being insulting, and many people don't know where that line is until they get banned, and even then it isn't clear to them why, since, in their mind, they were doing some lighthearted trashtalk.

But if people have been banned for "ggez" then it's safe to say that Riot, or at least the system they use, doesn't think that's acceptable, which makes them ban-able offenses.

EDIT: Or I should say "punishable" offenses, for clarity.

The people who come to this board aren't a singular entity. It is a bunch of different people that mostly fall into two groups. 1, people who support the system and people who have been punished. The people who support the systems are the ones telling you the things in a given chat log are punishable, they are typically much more knowledgeable about the system though not always. Punished players, well they want whatever they were doing to be allowed so they don't get punished.

It doesn't matter what the boards say are punishable. What matters is what RIOT says is punishable. If they say things like "GGEZ" or "git rekt" are unsportsmanlike then you should abide by that. The boards can say what they want, its Riot's rules.

You act like we're one big hive mind lmao. Some of us have been saying "if you don't like trashtalk, then mute" then some of them have been saying "ban them for trashtalking" since day one. We don't all think the same thing once a majority appears. That's not how it works.

Hopefully if you can understand that then you can see why your question is pointless.

Toxic people use this to try and justify their behavior.......

The community is very clear on disapproving of this behavior.

The boards are a circle jerk, dude. Say something first, and everyone will follow you that day.

But as for what's toxic, it boils down to whatever "triggers" people, and they report you. So don't give advice, don't tell people to mute, don't have fun.

I'd say mute yourself, but that's evidently triggering people to.

No man I'm toxic AF I told a troll that her lies didn't align up with video evidence and then reported them. Surprisingly, they got punished but apparently, a lot of board members here think that she/he was in the right.

Every game I've ever played with or against a Riven , they have been toxic. Now, I'm not saying whether it's causation or correlation here, I'm just saying that Riven corrupts the souls of the innocent. #PermabanRiven
