Unconventional ways to deal with flame: The comedian

Ever wondered why flaming back at a flamer does nothing to stop him from flaming? Ever wondered if there was an alternative to just muting and reporting? Well maybe this unconventional method will surprise you in its effectiveness!

Obviously it's not a good idea to throw gasoline on a fire if your intent is to put the fire out. So what do we use instead? Water!

Flaming is usually the direct result of anger, why not try to disarm that anger with a laugh?

You could try to make a joke at your own expense, this victimises no one (except you, but I'm pretty sure you can handle making fun of yourself :P), and may provoke a laugh from the aggressor and cause them to either slow their roll or stop altogether.

You could try to utilize a ridiculous pun like:

"Oh god, that Voli jungle is unBEARable, he always wants my ashe." ######My punning skills are horrible, I know xD

Or, you could make a funny observation:

"That 6/6/6 enemy Teemo though, Satan is among us! Repent! The end is nigh!" ######Oh god, I'm not funny at all.

Aaaaaanyways, you guys probably get the gist of the message I'm trying to advocate here. I'm not saying this method should be a 1 to 1 replacement for muting, but it may just be effective at stopping the flame wars before they start and boosting your teams morale to boot!
