I understand you can be banned for tampering with your client in certain ways or using programs to give yourself an advantage [scripts] but is it against ToS to edit game files to bind Attack Move Click to my left mouse button? Pressing A+Left Click is awful. I know a lot of people use shift instead of A but I really don't see the difference in convenience.

Randomonium2 votesAbsolutely not. You can bind attack move click to any key you want using the client except for left mouse click. The reason why Riot hasn't made it easy to bind ANYTHING to the left mouse button is because it can cause issues with other left click features and Riot didn't want to deal with it. Riot has said multiple times that you will not be punished for this but that it may cause some mouse clicks to not work properly.
Macros are not allowed but binding attack move click to the left mouse button is not a macro.

You would lose the left click ability to click on things I think.
