Why is this player not banned?

I played a game recently where I picked a support champion in the mid lane, and our support picked a mid laner. The ADC started verbally abusing us, calling us autistic & stuff. He was feeding hard. He said we ruined the game even though we were the ones getting our kills. we won in 20 mins, the adc got no kills but he flamed us hard for the rest of the game. We were called "Autistic Little Low life Idiots that can't play league because they suck and need to play out of meta"

uhhh perma pls. Riot only ban ppl who use camps when they flame, ive noticed this lol

Because it usually takes more than a single game to ban an entire account. You'd probably feel the same if you had a really bad day.

If he continues to act like that, he will be punished and banned.

Gameplay trolls do get punished, but it takes longer to punish them since the system has to be sure they're trolling and not just having a bad game or two. If you reported them and they have a history of acting up then they will be punished. Is it perfect? No. Does it work? Yes.
