People who judge by score

Hello guys, i want to talk about one part of the LoL community, the scorejudgers. Or simply The SJ, those are the people which if loosing, press tab, and flame the one with the most deaths/least kills. I hate these dumbasses, when i have a bad game, i just try not to feed as much and try to be usefull, but mostly i get responds like TY FOR LOOSING GAME IDIOT, YOURE 0, WORST YASUO EVER. One game i had a teammate who played Irelia top, and had 0/8, BUT she played really good, even with that socre she had more farm then the enemy Darius top, but the enemy jg Zac, camped her whole game and they dived her mostly, our jg Lee just said report top noob, and never helped her, she just ignored him and keept farming and then came late game, oh boy, our 0/8 Irelia became 18/9 Irelia, and rekt everything. And the stupid Lee got reproted for verbal abbuse. Anyway, i just ignore this dumbasses and just play, what do you do?

They're called KDA whores, and you shouldn't blame them, you should pity them. Blame Riot for contributing to the influx of FPS morons after destroying any strategic depth this game had last season in favor of flashy explosions and 3 second teamfights. Anyway, I mute them and straight up tell them to go back to CoD where they belong since it's more "their speed." Wah wah toxic. If they're offended, they'll report me - don't care.

Back when Revive was in the game, I occasionally ran Revive TP Karthus, one, because it was hilarious, and two, because it worked. When you have someone who throws a hissy fit if you have 12 deaths and spends the rest of the game crying about your KDA, there's very little more satisfying than dragging them kicking and screaming over the finish line whether they want you to win or not. There's more to "getting gud" than having a high KDA - I respect someone with a bad score who knows what the hell they're doing more than someone who can go 7-0-5 and be bottom damage with no towers taken.

Now, if you have 12 deaths and have basically int fed the whole game, that's a different case, and it's clear to those who pay attention who's having a rough game and who's inting. Like a TF who is getting dove and targetted because card games trigger the enemy team or something isn't the same as the TF who flashes in place and ults in the middle of 5 people alone. KDA whores only see the second TF no matter the circumstance because they're not smart enough to know the difference or see what's going on.

I also want to point out that KDA is often simply K/D to them. Only kills and deaths matter for some reason, so the Nunu who is acting as the second support from the jungle is going to flamed at for being 2/8...I mean nevermind the 38 assists he has - those don't matter because again, they're not smart enough to understand anything beyond: "ME KILL! DURR YOU DIE! SAD! BAD TEAM! REPORTED!"

I recently finished a game as Mordekaiser where my score at the end was 4/15/7. I admit that I did bad in fights, but that's why I looked to gain advantage elsewhere. At the end of the game enemy carry XinZhao went for a penta in our base where I ulted him and got lucky with my Q's. I used him as a ghost to solo Baron and push the lane to their base where my team joined me and we won the game.

Objectives>Kills

If we are being absolute then yes, you can say that kda plays a small role in the game. I mean look at worlds, you can watch a whole game where the sum of kills from both teams is less than 10. BUT, it often is a good indicator of someone's performance. Kills can open up more significant objectives, like turrets or dragons. A fed jungler can take control of the map mid game. To conclude, it's not a good kda that matters, it's what you do with the lead you get from that. Because eventually everyone is going to buy items so no one's kda will matter anymore.

Miss Fortune is red Malphite is green Our jungler is dead ...and 0/16 --old rift proverb

KDA is only one part of performance. CS, positioning, and objectives are just as, if not more important.

Ignore and play. I'll judge you by your score though if you start flaming.

Here's what I do,

Step 1. Tell him I'm going to him mute and tell him the reason

Step 2. Mute

Sometimes it makes people feel they're dumb, not like it works always

Step 3. Report

Fin.

I got blamed once for not doing anything as ivern top, even though I was like 4-6-25 thereabouts. We won that game.

Needless to say, there are always KDA Warriors that think kills = winning.

I usually check the score, then take a look at the most noticeable lane every once in a while. If it's obvious they are morons, it usually ends up with "You're 0/X. Stop fighting/diving them, you feeder."

I mute them, then I yell FOR NARNIA, because its just a game. Don't take it to seriously.

The majority of the time that 0/8 irelia ends up being 3/17 she played it out which is good for her but how did she end up at 0/8 in the first place?

There is fair and unfair score judging.

Fair is telling your jungler that he has to gank more if he is 0/1/0 after 30 min, if you noticed that he afk farmed most of the time, then his score is just something you mention to emphasize your critique i guess, you can't really judge somebody just by his score, it depends and so many factors, like lane, match up and situations (for example the enemy team is focusing all their ressources to camp that one lane, can't really blame the player there for having some deaths).

But then there are ofc players who will blame a support for being 1/2/8 while the team is losing, not even kidding, some players would actually say "1/2" while ignoring the assists and use that just to blame you. xD
