Do you guys think this is worthy of a chat restriction.

Just wondering if you guys think that this text is worthy of a chat restriction and strip of honor level.

To give some context I was hovering vayne and the mid banned vayne then auto locked ornn mid, so i locked in sol and just went mid with him and hecarim harassed me all game even though i was playing it through just in mid instead of adc since the ornn decided to troll. Hecarim was practically screaming at me and begging the other team to report me all game even though ornn was the one who ruined the game for me and everyone else.

Game 1 Arsinik: yep Arsinik: thanks ornn Arsinik: no need to report me Arsinik: ornn banned my champ that i was hovering then picked ornn mid Arsinik: and let him do whatever he wants without reprecussions Arsinik: not even close buddy Arsinik: honestly dont care what you do hecarim thinks its ok to just let trolls get whatever they want Arsinik: dont worry hec got blue Arsinik: again idk for what Arsinik: ornn banned my champ so i just responded by picking whoever i wanted to play and wherever since apparently it doesnt matter Arsinik: hecarim thinks its ok to just let trolls do whatever they want Arsinik: its not trolling its reacting to a troll Arsinik: for real hecarim this game is a wash we have an ornn who decided that at champ select why are you being so dense Arsinik: does a troll have to speak to be a troll Arsinik: no one is trolling but ornn Arsinik: for what? Arsinik: im not trolling though Arsinik: how desne are you guys Arsinik: your telling me if someone banned your champ then locked ornn mid you wouldnt want to just play whatever Arsinik: idk why he keeps ssaying two because im not trolling and all he has done since champ select is be toxic towards me Arsinik: how am i trolling Arsinik: so explain to me how its ok to ban my adc and pick ornn mid? Arsinik: and not get punished for it Arsinik: this is whats wrong with the league community you guys would rather me Arsinik: im playing the game actually trying you are the ones who are freaking out over meta Arsinik: no im not Arsinik: and you are toxic

You were told you were trolling based on your chat. So tell me since you never once did refute their claim:

How were you NOT trolling?

from your own context paragraph, you explained that you in fact WERE trolling (counter-trolling counts). As for the chat restrict, well,

Arsinik: how desne are you guys

This post speaks for itself. Constantly calling out your ally didn't help you at all.

I don't see how that warrants it, but then I got a restriction because I got my lane stolen and I refused to step in and aid the troll who did it, lost lane, and then fed while the mid laner and bot lane took me apart with nasty personal insults. Did I insult them back? Nope. Name call, hate speech, racial anything? No. Feed? No. What I did was say that this was the reason the game is as bad as it is, because trolls are allowed to win and disrupt everything. So, apparently if you call somebody nasty names its fine but if you don't aid the person who took your lane, lost it, and fed like a Thanksgiving night dinner then you are guilty as charged.

Anything negative will be held against you. You Argued with your team and continually called Ornn a troll, and it got you punished. Next time mute and report them. You could have avoided confrontation but instead you took part in it.

Retaliation is just as bad. You were negative from the start. Based on the context you completely gave up before the match started and were intentionally trolling since you had issues with Ornn and Hecarim. You kept arguing instead of muting, and you contributed (along with other players, but their behavior does not excuse or lessen the penalty for your own) to the negative experience of your whole team.

If someone else trolls, is toxic, intentionally feeds, etc... that does not give you license to retaliate in kind. It is expected that, instead of adding to the negativity, you mute, ignore, and report after the game has ended.

If this were a first time offense, chances are it would just get stored away in case you had any future reports. But if you've ever had a valid report for this type of comms in the past... yeah, I absolutely think it's worth a chat restriction.

For reference, this is how the system works: https://i.imgur.com/ACZhFYu.png

Use your upcoming chat restricted games to collect yourself. Remember that you responding to negativity is never necessary and that you can effectively communicate with pings. If your instinct to chat is fueled by your need to argue, prove another player wrong, insult someone, or even be sarcastic bc a player pissed you off... chances are you shouldn't say what you're about to say.

Have zero tolerance with yourself when it comes to saying anything negative. It's best to treat it like a black & white issue so that your negative attitude can never be held against you. As many a parent likes to tell their kids,

"If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."
