Is this game truly banworthy?

Direct copy+paste from a game I got stuck in with a 4man premade and they all reported me. For context, I was playing Malzahar mid. Granted, I was playing like shit and had a terrible KDA. Apparently being stuck in a lost game with a 4man premade who refuses to surrender is ban worthy. What are your thoughts? Did I say anything against the summoner's code? Also the "Why are my children so fucking dumb?" wasn't directed at any player. That was because I lost a kill due to my Voidlings suddenly changing targets.

Honestly, if you really did get any kind of punishment for this game, it would be because the automated system cannot see the context of you saying the words fucking dumb in the chat log. It was obviously meant as humor and was not a malicious insult thrown at anyone in the match.

I would appeal this through the support ticket system. Also, upvoting for Red attention.

Keep in mind that this response assumes this was the only game in your reform card and that you’re being truthful in everything. If you aren’t or are omitting games, a Rioter will quickly come correct that.

That being said, I’m on the fence here. While you didn’t do anything extremely toxic, the majority of the chat log was spent discussing why people didn’t surrender. Surrender votes are supposed to be a private decision by people. There is not supposed to be a “debate phase” where players try to convince each other to surrender/not.

You also spend a decent amount of chat calling one person out for being the “one making this game suck” and “holding us all hostage”, as well as responding passive aggressively to the person who I don’t know what said (ex: what could I have done there? Flashed the arrow?).

However, keeping in mind all that, I, being another player, would not “judge your communications to be far below the standard” (or whatever the fucking ban message says).

As another player of League of Legends, I do not feel this game warranted a punishments even if it was the first game right after a previous punishment (when you’re already on thin ice).

To make it completely clear, I support removal of this punishment.

For context I looked up the stats on the game that took place yesterday and lasted for approximately 30 min.

Your CS, gold earned, wards placed, and damage dealt are all comparable to your "friendly" sivir. You were 1/13/2, which is a fairly high number of deaths, but your jungler had 11 deaths, your adc had 10 deaths, and your support had 9 deaths. Not too surprising considering you were down 5k gold at 20 min, 10k gold at 25 min, and almost 20k gold at 30 min. Based on these numbers it looks like what it is... a bad game. Your stats don't point to intentional feeding unless the rest of your team was also engaged in that kind of behavior.

My only real criticism is that you seem to call for an early surrender when the game was winnable. You ask if everyone is down to surrender at 15 min. However, at the 15 minute mark your team is only down 2.5k gold. That's not an insurmountable lead, and its definitely something you can come back from with the right mindset.

Also, don't intentionally mislead the board by asking if your game was "banworthy" when you only received a chat restriction. If you wanted a fair and unbiased analysis then you need to be upfront and honest about all the details. When I think of "banworthy" I'm looking for egregious chat violations or behavioral toxicity, and framing the thread in that fashion would obviously pre-dispose people to read your chat log in a different light.

Depends on Ban, Previous punishments, and if this is really the only game stemming from this.

I wouldnt under any circumstances say this was a perma game, but if you had previous bans i would understand a 14 from this. And if you havent i understand a 1 or 2 day from this.

While being in a game that you think you cant win sucks. At the same time there are some miraculous comebacks. Im talking 2/14 comebacks.

Overall I would say you were definitely talking too much. If no one on your team wants to surrender and they are all trying there is nothing you can do. Its not a hostage situation at that point.

Another important thing is wether or not you were actually trying this game. Because while you say you didnt do anything reportable this game. There are more suddle ways to throw that you MAY have done.

OVERALL i say that if this is truely your first ban, and this was all that happened. I understand a 1 day ban although personally a CR would be better.

just was hostage in a match with 6 german nazi's spaming racial slurs and trolling whole match.. great time being forced to stay 40min cause of honor

That chat isn't too bad honestly. Especially for a game 1 chat. The next 2 had to be very toxic compared to this one cause you usually get 3 chat logs of 3 matches. So why don't you show the other 2 hmm? Usually game 1, and 2 is the most toxic which is surprising this one here wasn't overboard.

It's quite suspicious honestly. Wouldn't be surprised if you deleted some of the chat, and if this was game 3, but you called it game 1.

looks like negative attitude to me... constantly saying you can't win and bugging your team to ff would be extremely annoying to someone who doesn't think the same way you do.

Also, the system recognized a negative pattern of behavior in the chat logs that probably repeated itself in other games, not just this one The system is a sensitive PROFANITY and can ban you for the slightest trace of a negative pattern of behavior.. But I don't think your behavior was anything out of the ordinary for a guy who just wanted to get out of a game that seemed to be 100% lost

I absolutely would not ban for what you've shown here---you're kind of negative but not banworthy.

With all of that having been said, I have learned from this forum that most people do not tell the complete story or reveal all of the details surrounding their ban.
