Clearly negative and a classic case of "blame the support". Once the lane was lost she started blaming the support Alistar along with the teammates who defended the Alistar.

I didn't even need to read the whole chat to see that she was negative.

Due to Caitlyn and Heimerdinger frequently insulting each other (and Caitlyn calling Alistar retarded), I'd report both of them.

They really should've all received warnings...

This chatlog is scarily familiar, and isn't helped that I play a lot of Caitlyn. I can recall a game like this to an eerie degree.

In any case, I voted "Negative". Caitlyn was extremely hostile and could have handled the situation far better. For example: explain why RS is better than STE on Alistar, no all-caps, change her tone, stop snapping at teammates, the support-blaming should be halted, etc.

    ModPeriscope6/24/2017, 8:09:04 PM5 votes

I can understand being upset about your support carrying spell theifs on Alistar, but that doesn't give a player the right to curse and blame all of his/her problems on another player.

Negative, Ghost Rider, the pattern is full.

I have literally 1v2'd lanes as Caitlyn. Granted, it wasn't high level play and I was under turret the whole time, but it is possible.

Understandably, spellthief's is a poor choice given the matchup. However, there's no excuse for complaining about it for 30 minutes. I voted negative, and I hope that Heimerdinger was reported too.

    Jo0o6/24/2017, 8:09:24 PM3 votes

I've seen Spellthief Alistar work. It certainly isn't ideal, but there's no sense in flaming over it from the start. That helps nobody. I can't imagine how the choice of support item would singlehandedly lose the lane, either.

Shoulda muted the toxic Heimer much earlier.

    Negative from me.

The Caitlyn and Heimerdinger were excessively toxic, with Caitlyn going from being aggressive of her support's item 3303 to just downright toxic. And with Cait being toxic Heimer was just as bad. Jax wasn't the best person either, but I wouldn't say toxic, just on edge over his team (I know that feel). Shaco, Alistar, and the enemy team weren't toxic at all from what I can see.

    Wildlife16/25/2017, 3:35:42 PM2 votes

Shaco being the most redeemable player in that team, so thats what the world has become.

    Doaenel6/24/2017, 8:09:40 PM2 votes

Positive, this guy obviously was the best on his team and his teammates couldn't play around him. Not his fault toxicity took over :)

    Prismatic6/25/2017, 6:57:15 AM2 votes

I can understand Caitlyn frustration at what might be perceived as a sub-optimal build, but Alistar has every right to play and build however he chooses; regardless of his bad play, Caitlyn acted incredibly negative towards the teammate. Nothing else will detract from that.

    Jeanne fan club6/25/2017, 4:50:59 AM2 votes

Good lord, I've been in caitlyn's shoes. I've had games where my support doesn't even show up to lane until 5 min in and then I've gotten flamed by my entire team for being behind in cs. Yeah, that was the last time I ever played ADC. Alistars starting item reduces his lane presence to an extremely minimal degree. Not only does he not have the survivability to go in to even use his support item, he doesn't even have the regen to stay in lane against the Brand. But then again no one has any clue how this game is going since all we see are chat logs.

I can understand completely why the cait got pissed. Toxic players aren't a result of genetics or personality traits, its a result of the actions others take around them. I would be pissed as all hell if I was that caitlyn. I wouldn't want to queue into a game just to have some metamancer support ruin my game as well as his own. I hate having my time wasted by something outside of my control, and when I queue up for a game in league of legends I do it with the assumption that everyone on my team will have the inclination to win the game (I only play ranked so this SHOULD be a given).

Here is my criticism on this whole verdict board thing. You only see what people type in game, you have no idea what the context behind it is. The alistar could have been 0-3 and inting by the time cait first typed "this lane is a loss." You don't know the situation in which these players are in, therefore you can't picture how the game is going. You don't know whether the enemy team is 24-3 or vice versa, you just cant tell from chat logs alone. Personally I think its wrong to just show the chat logs without showing the game itself. when you look at everyone else on caits team they were toxic too, why are they not getting reported? Punishing people for being toxic is such a horrible thing to spend resources on. It doesn't fix the underlying problem behind toxicity. toxicity will only occur if player A is being negatively affected by Player B. At the end of the game Player A will not care anymore about player B, and will most likely not be toxic towards others. The only time where reporting Player A would be justifiable would be when he takes it out on unrelated people. oh, and that underlying problem behind toxicity... That can't be fixed either. That would involve directly affecting how people play the game, which is also a really crappy thing for riot to do. You can't just stop toxic players from being toxic either, toxic players are just normal people who get annoyed when someone does something outside of their control that negatively affects the toxic player. Do you think people are just not gonna get pissed when someone on their team runs into the opposing team 7 times for no reason? The only acceptable measure to take against toxicity in my mind are chat bans and nothing else. The fact that you can get banned from a game entirely for just typing things that someone may or may not find offensive is worrying to me. Normal people have problems with the way others act, and as a result they say rude things to each other. I would much rather people take their aggression out on the internet to complete strangers rather than have them take it out in real life in ways that may not just be verbal.

Personally I just don't think there is enough information in just the chat logs to form any sort of conclusion. Sure cait was toxic but then again so was the rest of her team. She took it all out on the person who was negatively affecting her and didn't take it out on anyone else who wasn't involved, and It wasn't even over something unrelated to her, the support affects the way the ADC has to play the game, so It is understandable why she would feel that way over her support if her support wasn't performing the way she needed them to. And this works both ways as well, its caits fault for not performing the way the Alistar needed her to perform in lane, however, I cannot directly see who negatively affected the lane the most since there is no video, only a chat log.

This really just seems like an instance of toxicity that comes from the way a teammate is playing the game. I find that understandable to be honest. I've played about 2000 ranked games in my 3 years of playing the game and I get pissed off at the way my teammates play as well. Not once have I ever AFK'ed (unless my ISP decides to do that for me ( god I hate charter communications) ) or inted because of how my teammates have played, I still play the game because I want to win, and toxic players still want to win as well, if they didn't then they would be inters or afk'ers, which is completely different than just being toxic. Hell, that cait could have gone afk 6 min in but we don't know, in that case it would be cut and dry ban for afking.

Anyway, that's just my ramblings on toxicity as a whole. I just want this to sit on your mind next time you queue up for a game, If you get into the wrong game with the wrong people, and say the wrong phrase that one of them finds offensive, you can get a 14 day suspension. Doesn't matter how long you have played the game, it only matters the one match that you finally snap because of your teammates.

let me guess the heimer went un punished [slayer-jinx-unamused]

    dolphinosplash246/24/2017, 8:24:15 PM1 votes

Seems like she was defending herself by putting all the blame on another person. Alistar probably muted her in the 1st few lines after she implied giving up. Cait could learn a thing or too from him if she just muted the hiem and shut her trap. Overall negative id say.

    Randomonium6/24/2017, 10:04:20 PM1 votes

I've feel for this Caitlyn player and have been in similar situations but all he did was take a bad situation and make it worse so I voted negative.

On a side note, I'm assuming that eventually this is going to become more formalized in the future like the old tribunal. Is there any plan to tie this to the new honor system? For example, does being an active member of the new tribunal and correctly identifying good/bad behavior allow you to rank up honor faster or gain additional rewards for being honorable in game?

Negative with no redeeming qualities. People like this are the reason ADC players are associated with negativity. Always blaming the teammates, especially the support. Calling the game a loss the moment he hits a wall.

    Darth StepVader6/25/2017, 9:04:43 AM1 votes

I'd personally like Jax and Heimer's logs to be taken under verdict, for they as well were extremely negative and kept harassing their teammates instead of staying cool and waiting the game out.

    Cornerstone16/25/2017, 12:34:03 PM1 votes

Clearly some trolls/banned players voting. No reasonable person would vote positive, and neutral is silly as well.

    Jericho Azariah6/25/2017, 6:19:26 PM1 votes

do we have link to the game itself, so we can see with our own eyes of the performance of the player and of those around this individual, to give a more accurate judging of these statements spouted.

    Aeszarck6/25/2017, 6:26:10 PM1 votes

Undeniably negative! Caitlyn was so mean to her support. She needs to learn how to take poor supports in stride, because not every support is going to be amazing.
