How long does it honestly take to get to Honor level 2 from 0?

I've been honor level 0 for awhile now and get my first checkpoint a week ago. It's been about a half a year of honor level 0. I got chat restricted a couple days ago so I'm back to square one, but just honestly how long does it take? I feel at this point it would be beneficial to make a smurf but I've used this account for 5+ years. Spent around 2k on it. But then again I do wanna practice being a support main now that I'm trash at jungle this season. Hmmm okay bai.

Honestly I wouldn't even bother worrying about it. I spent 2 months to get to checkpoint one, lost it the other day and now it's gonna take me another 2 months to get to checkpoint one. People have told me it's a pain to get anywhere even without punishments. Like from honor 2 checkpoint 2 to checkpoint 3.

The system feels like it's taking too long to get anywhere as in two months I stacked over 200+ games and got one checkpoint during the time, it's really lacking as it seems.

From others that got out, around 250 games that got out of honors0. It probably would be less now since they made it a bit easier since patch 8.6.

Keep in mind that getting validly reported puts a screeching halt to your honor recovery progress. As you have indicated, you got chat restricted again, which means you certainly were getting validly reported during your progress climb .
