I don't always report players, and I wish I knew what game this was from, but he got punished.

Im not saying you should report people for fun, or no reason. But this post is to let you know that reports do make a difference, so don't say riot doesnt care or you may get hit with the banhammer too

I think I can speak for a lot of people when I say that we don't see this feedback as often as we'd like to. There is a great disparity between the number of toxic players we report and the number of times we see this notification.

I know that Riot tries to make a good reporting system, but I feel like there is more that can be done about the frequent toxicity occurring in games.

It's important that you actually write out a reasoning as to what the person has done. Were they being continually aggressive? Continuously cussing out your team? What did they actually do wrong? When the Tribunal was around people would say they wouldn't look into reports that weren't expanded upon beyond, the "Unsportsmanlike" option being ticked. Unsportsmanlike can mean a lot of things, and a lot of Rioters do not want to waste time going into a report just because it turns out the enemy said "EZ", which is yeah, annoying, but it's not the end of the world.
