10 min ban autoban if you have more than "X death"

Yeah the title is a bit provocative, but let's call it a mandatory break rather than a ban so that it loose the "punishment" ring to it.

  1. So ok the really toxic intentional feeders will be banned for 10 min and i guess everybody will be ok with it.
  2. Now let's go on to the guy having a really bad game, well i think we could all agree that a break would certainly doi him good after his really bad game so this mandatory break isn't that bad after all.
  3. To the issue of the tank, the assasin going 1for1 with a prioirty target, the support who saccrifice himself to block a skillshot etc... Ok those guy can die a bit more than the others and maybe sometimes they will have to take an underserved break, but hey it's only a break and break is kind of good anyway, it's nothing more than what you get when go make yourself a cofee and miss the queue.

And at least is send a message than you shouldn't die, and that diving a tower to kill someone, trading flash + ignite to get a kill while giving them an assisted kill for no summoner isn't OK... especially if he had to recall anyway and you could just have taken a tower(# not worth)

so i would see the X be something like 3+1 every 5 min ( 7 at 20; 11 at 40) something along those lines

According to your own formula, you would have been banned for going 1/9 on Twitch sooooooooooooo....yeah.

no no no

then you have a team that's behind and people who don't want to defend/stage a comeback because they might risk dying and triggering an autoban

it's like trying to tie LP gain to performance, it just leads to people playing the game for reasons other than wanting to win

This would punish supports as well as people just learning the game. People who intentionally feed are worth less and less gold while the enemy team gets swelled up like a turkey. Just be patient, capitalize on their mistakes. A feeder on your team in some cases might actually get you more gold if you play correctly.

With that system, I'd honestly be worried about 5-player premades just grouping up and repeatedly killing a single target just to get them banned.

That's ignoring the glaring flaws with the idea that other players have already pointed out.

Like others have said, this system would hurt more than it would help. Yes Intentional Feeders stink to play with or against, but there's no need to make a system that punishes solely based on ones death count in a game. If that happened then ARAM would be the mode with the most punishments as players frequently die a whole lot in that game mode. A system needs to be fair to as many players as possible and fair for all game modes involved, and as far as I can tell this system is not that.

Do you really want to put up with people throwing the game because they refuse to risk getting punished for too many deaths so they sit out fights? I sure don't.

I'd rather be with a player who's just bad at the game than go 4v5

Anyway Akali and LeBlanc would be so OP the client would DC from the sheer power of their 100-0 potential.

No. It's a terrible idea...
