Honest question; why do people think they are cool for camping behind towers in Co-op vs. AI?

I do understand entirely have a much less serious attitude in Co-op vs. AI, but sometimes you get in matches with people who clearly think they're cool for having 20 kills at 10 minutes yet their CS is 6 because they literally camped behind the towers the whole game.

Is it honestly something you consider fun? Do you think you're cool for doing so? CS'ing and jungle clears are the only two areas that you can actually learn from in Co-op vs AI, so why do these people queue up for a match, run behind turret for First Blood and then just sit there and camp the whole game? And I mean literally the whole game.

I've been having computer problems for awhile now and until I can get them fixed I've been staying out of PvP as to not ruin anyone's matches. Co-op vs. AI isn't the best IP but at least it's somewhat productive. I can practice CS'ing or play off meta junglers for the hell of it. But the amount of times you come across these types of individuals who I can only imagine think they are cool is honestly somewhat surprising. And it's not even just the unranked ones, I've seen plenty of players with ranked boarders doing the same thing on multiple occasions. (Granted though, these are the same people who boost so they can feel cool with their boarders most of the time.)

So I'm here to honestly question, why do people do this? I truly cannot comprehend how sitting behind the towers and killing bots that literally don't fight back is fun.

I personally think its autism. Same type of people that will lose lane and blame the jungler. Just a lack of mental prowess.

I sometimes play Co-Op as a stress relief. I'll suit up as Darius or some other brutal carry and see how many kills I can get. It's hardly League at that point, but whatever.

I don't think I'm "cool", it's just a relaxing thing for me to do. Of course, I fight the bots "fairly", I don't do janky behind-tower camping.

I do this as a group on occasion. I think I've seen one or two players give snark at me or a friend because they got a neat score in a bot match, but I don't understand why someone would comment on it to begin with. Co-Op isn't much like a normal game of League, and if you want to fight bots then it's okay if you decide to beat bots in a different manner.

Rarely I go solo with a champ I'm getting to know so I can see how they handle earlygame, so rather than get into a lane I get behind the tower to see how my champion fares against one or two enemies from the get-go and if I can get any leverage there. Other times me and a friend want to compete for how many kills we get in the 50+ range. I don't see why this makes someone think they are cool though, bot games really aren't a big deal.

???

new players?

ip farm bots?

i fail to see the huge issue here, i mean ranked is overflowing with bots.

Because who cares about bots games... You can't really learn anything about it, jungle clears? what about counterjungling. CSing? what about actual poke and trades.

I mean I really don't see what is wrong with this? Maybe they are new, could just be kids playing without the "seriousness" in the other modes. I mean what people find fun is all on them. If they find that fun why ruin it? It's bots afterall it shouldn't matter!

the bots arent competition. so the only thing you can compete with is your teammates for kills.

Like most time when i play bots "Who cares, it's bots" anything can happen, off meta picks, double support bot, shaco top. seen it all.

Why they do it? maybe cause it makes them "feel good" finnalyy kicking ass, no longer waiting for the stars to align.

If it makes them better summoners, go for it, have a 20minute game. lower ip, but you can always play again.

let them stroke thier ego, it a eye-roll moment, but it's like wathcing a kid on a swing, still has that innocence to enjoy simple and dumb things

Coop vs Ai is underrated, probably the best even games are played there imo XD

As opposed to not sitting behind towers and fighting bots that "literally don't fight back"? I don't get it. Bots are super easy either way. They don't think they're "cool" lmao that's a ridiculous assumption. They just wanna get as strong as possible. That's not thinking you're cool. I facepalmed at that... Because they think theyre cool...? did you write this to show them how cool you are? How you know they're just trying to be cool and you're so above that maaaan? They just wanna be super fed. I personally don't do that, just because it probably kills the fun for newbs who actually find bots to be a challenging, fun time. But I definitely don't make myself feel better by telling myself they're just trying to be cool. Lol that's so petty sounding, I can't even. And if that's what they find fun (sitting behind towers getting fed) then hey, that's what this game is for. Go for it.
