Afk Timers

Hello there,

As i'm constantly in afk timers because I always have a hectic schedule I believe that the 20 minute afk timers are very unfortunate because not only that my schedule is hectic, it's also unpredictable with school and helping out with my family. While I might reach out to some of the people who are constantly undergoing this stress weekly or even daily, I also understand that it's a punishment and you shouldn't do it, I mean no one wants to deal with the afk person on your team do they? I believe that if riot lowered the punishment queue time to at most 10 minutes it would be fair since no one wants to queue up in a chain for half the day.
I know it might not seem fair to the players that have the afk person on their team, it also cruel to the person who quit if they were busy with family and helping out others, or even a family member has deceased.

What i'm proposing is that the first afk game of the day will go un punished and any games after that will be a punishment for them. I believe that this would get a player off a "tilt" because they have a afk timer or increase their moral to their teammates since they didnt get punished. If you read through the whole thing thank you for acknowledging my perspective.

League isn't a game for people with constantly hectic schedules. If you don't have good control over you schedule, if things keep popping up, then find a different game.

Vain Glory is a mobile MOBA that I believe takes less time and might not have as strict AFK punishments. You could check that out.

A quick tip, Play league when you know you wont get bothered. Its simple as that, I have a very hectic work schedule because I get called in when im needed, I constantly have to help people around the house because they are not in the mood to find what they need by themselves and I dont afk. Why? because i play when i know i wont get bothered.

Don't queue unless you have an hour to play. It's that simple. Hectic schedules and managing them is a part of growing up. We all have crazy schedules. Whether it's school, sports, work or making it on time to see the big game we need to be responsible with our time.
