Solution to people banning your champ (Riot hear me out)

It's a good step forward to letting people select the champs they want to play for everyone to see. But there is a problem with that and many people don't want to do that cause they fear some toxic asshole is gonna ban your champ. Well, I might have a solution for that problem:

Simple. Make those champs that are selected unbannable. I'm sick and tired of getting my main banned cause someone is in bad mood. It makes me toxic as well. Think about it will ya.

But then the person who is last pick could troll and select the current FotM/OP champion and have it to where the champion is free to the enemy team. I do understand its a problem, but i dont think this would be a good solution!

It would certainly help with the people who accidentally ban because they aren't paying attention to who their teammates selected. Perhaps, instead of making them 100% unbannable, make it so that there is an alert that pops up and warns them "X Champion has been selected by your teammate. Are you certain you still wish to ban?"

It might even help with the trolls and griefers. Since if they have to click the second button stating that they are aware that they are banning a champion selected by their teammate, then there is no excuse. They have already admitted prior to the match that they are begun the match with the intention to ruin the game for at least one of the players on the team

I simply think you should talk to your team. Someone wants to play a certain champ but they are considered OP and banned frequently. Ask if someone who has an earlier pick if they will grab it for you. Otherwise I agree with the earlier prognosis of people would hover a champ just to prevent the banning. What about people who are jumping between two potential picks but want to wait to make final choice? Are neither of them banable or just timing to get one?

How about a simpler solution: Don't show your intended pick ^^

As to your proposal: No. You don't get a say in what people can ban and what they cannot.

Situation: You're banning on the Purple/Red side. Your fifth pick decides they want to play ENTER INCREDIBLY OP CHAMPION HERE. The likelihood of the champion being picked on blue side is extremely high. In this case, I'm going to ban out your champ. Sorry, but the slim chance of you getting that champion is not worth the risk of it getting picked,
