The difference between good bronze and trash (suggestion to Riot)

Hello League of Legends community.

There's something I'd like to discuss. It's about the difference between the best and worst bronze players in LoL and my suggestion that I personally don't see any problem in.

As a bronze player I've noticed there is huge difference in skill level between bronze players. There is the total trash that have just reached lvl30, played the first 10 matches, lost them all and that start at bronze 5. Those players should not be matched with b2 or even b3. I see this as a big problem. They should be in division called "low bronze". That way they will not be ruining the game for those who are actually good and trying their hardest to climb.

There should be 3 divisions in bronze: low bronze, mid bronze and high bronze. That way better players don't get trash in their game. If you are in higher elo you may laugh at the idea but there is huge skill difference in bronze. I said what I needed to say. Give your input if you feel like it. Good day.

There is a hidden MMR system. You will be matched with people that has about the same amount of MMR as yourself.

I won 6/10 of my promos just due to my own poor play in all honesty. But ive been trying to climb as of late and even when I do exceptionally well, my team will refuse to participate in any team requiring actions such as objectives, picks, etc. Its extremely hard to climb when I get that. I went on a loss streak, a couple games, sure I did poorly, but on others, i tried desperately to carry a team that refused to play. Feels like its a 1v9 at times.

While I agree that bronze has a massive skill difference (ranging from better easy bots to actual human players in terms of skill) you can easily carry yourself out of bronze if you are better than them.

I believe the major "problem" of bronze players is inconsistency. They can be able to carry hard one game, only to fall flat on their face in the next. You are here judging players on the one game you play with them, but you are unable (not a judgment, but a fact) to see their whole picture.

Besides, you do forget another fact: your enemies are bronze too. Your enemies have the same weak spot as your team does. You should focus on their weak spots and exploit them, and your own weak spots to train them. Fixating on your teammates wont get you anywhere.

There is a low, mid and high bronze. They're called tiers you ape.

In bronze theres 3 types of players "My team is trash, I'm good" "I THINK I can play a champion well, look I have this one game that says I went 15-3-2 on Yas so that means I'm the best Yas ever, because of 1 game" "The only reason, Im not diamond is because I don't feel like being diamond today". In some way, they are all denying that their bad, and cant climb rating because their skill level isn't any higher. You probably see that Yas player often thinking their good, but thats 1 game out of the 400 with a 38% winrate in bronze 3. This is a terrible idea, how can you even think about this? All you see is how bad unranked players are, and not any mistakes YOU make. The higher elo you get, the more visible the mistakes in bronze are. You can't see it because your bronze but, its super obvious in higher elo. I'm not even joking I sometimes get matched up with unranked in GOLD 3. Bronze should make sense but in gold, when the Garen doesn't know basic game mechanics (like teamfighting), its just super frustrating. Average skill level is silver 5-bronze 2, why are unranked players playing with golds, I get why they get matched up with b3 and b2, but its crazy why they play with golds. When you said "ruining the game for those who are actually good and trying their hardest to climb" if you guys were good, you could climb, you just believe your good, thats called bronze mentality.

That way they will not be ruining the game for those who are actually good and trying their hardest to climb.

If you are stuck in bronze, you are NOT 'actually good'.

Now that said, you definitely see the widest skill gaps between players in bronze. But I'd say its a fault in how the tiering is done by ritos system since 50% of ranked players are mid silver or lower. Why do we have 5-6 division groups if over half the playerbase is lumped into the bottom 2. A real solution would be to create more divisions on the low end to try to spread these players out a little more (add wood, cardboard, etc). However, the matchmaker could suffer and queue times could go up on the low end with a smaller pool of players to draw from.

dude, you are bronze. you are one of the people that you are complaining about. other bronze players talk about you being trash and ruining their games.

i mean, you have to try to be in bronze or int every game or lose that bad.
