What does it take to get an intentional feeder banned?

In my last game I had a Singed top that decided he wanted to lose this game. He bought two Dark Seals, and chased the enemy Pantheon/Lee Sin under tower giving 10 deaths by 20 minutes. This was in Ranked, by the way.

It has me pretty frustrated. I reported him, but I want to know what trolls like him need to get banned. Any info is appreciated.

sadly, there is nothing that can be done. for some reason reports do nothing anymore. i had a darius who was afk in a ranked game for 17 minutes. he comes back and our jinx said one salty thing to him. then he went on to feed 20 kills to the enemy top laner bc he said "i don't want this jinx to win." everyone in the game reported him, yet none of us were ever given any indication that he had been punished.

It is frustrating I know. I've had instances of this happening here and there. Ironically most of them occur in ranked play. It makes me feel bad as I'm sure it does you because, I feel powerless and I know that the next 20-30 minutes of my life will be spent playing a wasted game. When this happens I just work on my own skill. You can learn what to do when behind and still try to make plays and become a better player overall. You probably know this but the banning system (or so I am told) works based upon number of bans, the repertoire of the people banning i.e. those who don't spam ban every game, and rito's own decision making process whatever that may be. I believe there should be an extremely strict policy involving intentionally feeding. Do it once and you're banned for a week. Do it again and you're permabanned or something like that. I do not know what resources rito has to know if someone has truly griefed during game. A bad KDA does not necessarily mean someone intentionally fed and one cannot rely on the word of the League community if you know what I mean.

Yeah seriously, in my honest opinion, I think the banning system needs to be COMPLETELY overhauled. It really works against the players. In my last game I had a ziggs in mid lane who fed. He fed and then said he gave up and just continued to feed. My top laner was Illaoi, who fed a Rengar 4 kills then afked and never came back. My bot was a Yasuo, and he was the only one in lane, so after 2 deaths, he decided to purposely start feeding. My support was a Teemo who locked Teemo and said he was "roaming". And he literally got level 3 and then sat in a bush the rest of the game. What does it take for people like this to get banned? I had not a single person but me report these guys after the game, and why? Because my enemies as well. Their ADC, Jinx, said she was honoring all of them for giving her a free win. Seriously? How can we stop this type of stuff? Rengar talked negative the whole game towards us saying that we were S#it players etc. The rest of their team didnt talk or anything but still. They called me S#it and said Teemo was better and they honored him. And now I come to something just as bad. They all reported ME after game for being "toxic". I was not toxic at all. I was frustrated and kept telling them to report Teemo and the rest of my team and they said no, and I said I was going to report them as well (after they were talking crap to me for 10 minutes consecutively), and I did. But they reported me and according to the banning system as it currently is, this puts me on a counter that will eventually lead to me being banned possibly. And the fact multiple people would report me makes it even worse. I just need to say that this banning system needs to be reworked somehow. People like this that we're on my team need to be removed from the community. Im not saying drop a permaban, but like someone else on this post said, a week ban etc. It needs to be more strictly enforced, at the same time there needs to be some way to present evidence of purposely feeding. I use screenshots but that doesnt do much, and I dont know what i can do with screenshots to begin with. I just hope this gets to some Riot employee and they at least consider that the banning system is not effective. In some cases it really is, but in a majority of cases its not.. And yes, as I failed to mention this, it was a ranked match. I know what it feels like for everyone else to have to lose out on something like this.
