OK guys. Please, take a moment to think about this. In this, the PB&M boards, you occasionally get individuals complaining about being permabanned stating

“I’ve spent $600 on this game, and for what?! To be banned?!”

Please, think before you spend the money on RP. I realize that Riot’s entire platform is built on you wanting to spend to expedite the process of earning champs and aesthetics. Please, though, think about the following statement:

“How much money would I pay for this game?”

It’s simple – whether you think about this in a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly amount. Get that amount in your head and spend without regrets. When you pay that money, it’s gone. No matter how long you think you’re going to have your account, once you pay, you are [likely] never getting that back. So, please, don’t spend the money unless the game is really worth it to you. And, when you walk away, or get banned, or do whatever, you can look back without regrets as to the amount of cash you spent.

And remember, knowing is half the battle.

This is the game I have played the most frequently and for the longest duration.

Honestly, I have not regrets about whatever money I have put into this game and I don't mind supporting the developers of it.

While I've spent quite a bit of money, It's still less than regularly getting new games for ~4 years would have been.

On a slightly separate note, pretty mad that Overwatch is 60$. Why not make it free-to-play, they always seem to make more money in the long run -_-

Dude, I've spent like 5k and I dare email support about getting burned from Hectech Crafting and there was ZERO appreciation, not a single ounce of "oh mane we got you". Bottom line, they got your money and give no farts. To bad, so sad -Riot Games

If you want a pay increase just ban a bunch of people and let them spend it again. Honestly because Riot doesn't block you from the service once they ban you and they could easily make it so much harder. They should have to transfer your purchases to a lvl 1 account if they are a respectable business.

Errrr.. I dont WANT it back??? I spent it because.. well.. I wanted to spend it.. Im not sure what your point is? I like the skins I bought and I use a lot of them... I feel I got fair value for my money...

this is the only game i play constantly on. Even with the old games, new games coming out, its quite fun and never boring (except for ill mannered players lol). I've spent more than I'm willing to admit, and I even put money to it when i didnt have a job. Now i do, and even more money is into it XD.

But its worth it. It's a game you can always come back to and just play.

I don't really regret spending the money as it was a pretty long time ago and the only times i did it were times that i had the money to spare. The things i do regret, however, are the skins or champ release bundles i spent the money on. I honestly to this day regret buying the azir release skin bundle. I've only played him twice and i should've just saved the IP up.

Just because you might not spend a lot of money doesn't mean some of us regret the amount we spent. I've been playing league over the course of 6 years now and I have no regrets for the amount i've spent. It's part of the reason Riot can do as much as they do and I'm perfectly okay with supporting Riot.

Turns I spent way more than I thought I did. I don't mind though because up until this season the game has provided me with an awesome experience and I haven't spent on any other games since I was introduced to league.

It's worth the money imo. No one forces you to spend money since most of that goes towards skins and cosmetics. Rules are pretty clear cut.

Honestly, stuff like this legitimately prevents me from wanting to spend too much on this game for fear of losing it. I've never gotten chat restricted or had any infractions, but just the thought that it COULD happen makes it all seem like a waste for me.

It's just one of those things. It is rough to see the numbers added up like that. I've known for years that I could submit a ticket and get the total, but chose not to. Then I accidently stumbled on that page that showed it last week. I by far got the value I wanted out of the 5-15 dollars a month I spent on league. But to see the total you start thinking about what you could do with that lump sum. Even though it still wouldn't have existed if I didn't spend it on league. People look at it like the alternative to it being spent on league is that money sitting in your savings account. When in reality it would have just been spent on something similar.

I spend like $20 a year, not because I'm afraid I'll be banned, I'm not toxic. I just feel that it's how you show Riot if the game is in a good state or not. I hate dynamic queue, I think the report system is a big failure, and they ignore the community on 99% of topics. If they were to add a new champ and poll the community, 100% of players could say "DO NOT ADD" and they'll do it anyway.
