Is it banable to say "afk" or "inting" when someone takes a camp/farm/kill you were going for?

If you then proceed to play as normal and never had any intention of doing such?

Why would you say "afk" or "inting" in the first place instead of politely telling the person that you disapprove of their choice of taking a camp/farm/kill you were going for?

Probably not, but context is everything.

It's a bad idea to say stuff like that even if you aren't punished, though. Lots of people AFK or int in this game for terrible reasons, which puts the rest of us on alert. I had a guy the other day threaten to AFK if I didn't change my DJ Sona song, and even though it turned out he was joking, I initially took him seriously and was upset.

It's a bad idea in general, because it does nothing to help the situation and probably will make it worse (especially for something as petty as a camp or kill. That's like 60% Greek god pettiness).

Also, as little history note: When the tribunal was voted on, declarations of afk or intentional feeding would be near insta-punish vote.

You're playing League and you're surprised your teammates thought you were serious?

S'pose I was unclear. I meant as a joke, not as an actual attempt to change their behavior. What about if you say "JK" immediately afterwards?
