Why can we not mute champ select?

Like seriously, this request has been going on for ages. It has been the most requested feature in that lobby. I don't need to hear any of the nonsensical conversation that goes on.

Its even less of an excuse now that we have role selection. Why do I have to listen to people tilt there asses off before the game even starts to be able to mute them?

Don't play League. Seriously. Why can't you just ignore the people in champ select? Don't talk to them. At minimum, people need to make it through champ select before they mute everyone in a team game.

In-game and post-game chat? Sure, I'm all for it.

Pre-game chat mutes? Not a fan. For starters, it'll make blind pick near impossible since nobody will be able to call their roles. In draft and ranked, you're going to miss out on important callouts or discussion. (Ex. "First pick me Morde", "If you don't know what to ban, ban Yuumi for me", or "I'm going to gank top after starting their red so be ready")

IMO it's more of a detriment than a benefit, pre-game chat mutes shouldn't be a thing.

Because it uses a different system than the rest of chat. Plus, you know, people might actually try to make strategic decisions with it. If anything, complain about post lobby.

If you can't handle the slightest exposure to people, you should not play team based games.

In other words; What Hotaru said.
