Hey,Everyone it's ya boy Deceivery coming at ya with a new idea on how permabans.

So i was permaban two months ago and i'm fully reformed but unfortunately for me and many of the other actually reformed members of the 0.06% there is no system for us to get our accounts back which i believe should be in place.I believe Riot needs to put in a system that allows ban players can earn their accounts back by showing reform in game on another account but how you might be saying riot has tried giving accounts back with high failure rate and that's where my idea comes in.Now on to the idea

Step one: create and verify a new account Step two: Level it to 30 without any punishments Step three:Have no punishments for the next two months Step four: Receive your old account back Upkeep: if either account recieves any punishment after it's return you lose your old account for good also if you get a punishment on the new account you fail the whole process and can not apply for another chance

Hit me with your ideas Sincrely yours, Deceivery

This has the same issues I see with multiple proposals of this sort.

  1. Riot's data shows that the failure rate is incredibly high even among players dedicated to reform and can track smurfs of previously banned players if they decide to put effort into it, so one would assume they have evidence that this trend continues to be accurate.
  2. Riot has stated that the permanent ban is applied when they no longer want that person playing the game. As such, a reform program (especially one that encourages the player to play more and try multiple times) seems contrary to their goals.
  3. It effectively penalizes well-behaved players by encouraging more and more toxic players to return to the game and, given the point in #1, this will lead to a lot of them continuing to behave poorly.
  4. It neglects the fact that the fact that you can lose everything forever is a strong incentive to behave well by making that loss temporary if you can be on good behavior (or simply mute everyone) until you hit level 30 -- a task that honestly isn't that hard.

That would kind of defeat the point of permaban...?

Let's try linking the new account with the banned account at creation. [This prevents account sellers from bypassing the leveling process for you.] You only get one chance. [This prevents the spamming of accounts by people who are not serious about reforming.] Blow it, and the banned account is permanently banned, along with the new linked account. [This provides an actual penalty for misbehavior, rather than being identical to just starting a new account.]

Level the linked account to 100 without receiving ANY penalty to regain the old account and remove the limitations on the new account.
