i just watched the replay of a game that i played a few hours ago (with some games in between), and i noticed something that wasn't obvious at the time, a teammate raged quit because i accidentally knocked them away from the enemy they were trying to kill with the "ziggs-satchel" plant when trying to secure a kill ... there doesn't seem to be a way to report them anymore ... ... that's all i got to say ...
You can make a support ticket with Riot asking to report someone post game or report in a game that you spectated. Save the replay or the segment where they rage quitted, Riot will send you an email asking for more information about the report and you can attach it to the email there.
Leaves, especially those which are triggered by actually exciting the client, are tracked and punished 100% by an automated system.
The system monitors all games, and an afk report isn't necessary to flag it. The afk report is for more low key afk that can't be automatically detected.
Rest assured you don't need to report them, and they'll get what's coming to them.
