Can spamming "?" be a reportable offense?

Someone spamming "?" aggravates me more than any toxic behavior. I would rather have someone tell me to kill myself in chat. Why? Because at least I can mute than report the person and then I do not have to deal with their behavior again. These people will get punished for their toxicity, especially since I always report the person through player support with video and chat logs afterwards if they truly are that toxic.

Sadly, we cannot do that with pings. Not that I want to - pings are an essential way to communicate - but once this useful tool gets abused as another way to vent toxicicity WITHOUT CONSEQUENCES, than we have a problem. Perhaps having a system that tracks how often someone spam pings over someone's body after they die or when the spammer dies is too far away, but if I could just send video recording of people doing this multiple times a game through player support, I would be quite happy and it may alleviate my aggravation with those pings a bit.

I report it under spam and/or harassment if they continually do it (i.e. multiple times in succession or after every death).

If they do it maybe once in a match, I don't really care.

Riot has placed their own limits on using pings, so they're programming has already determined the acceptable amount of pings. Due to this, I don't believe it to be reportable, and it also doesn't break any of the Summoner's Code.

I do believe that muting a player should also mute their pings and champion taunts.

It used to be. Technically its griefing, but Riot doesnt much care about the behaviors people use to troll, as long as they arent talking when they do it.

I only use "?" when there's this one douchebag who's at 1 HP, and still thinks he can kill me under turret, and instead got himself killed.

I've seen people on this boards banned for spamming of pings.

Report under unsportsmanlike and leave a detailed message in the notes section, making it easier for Rioters to audit.

You can turn down ping volume in the in-game settings, you'll still see the ? they make but at least the annoying sound can be dealt with without just turning off all your sound altogether.

You can lower ping volume in settings; set it to zero.

I see nothing wrong with calling someone out for a mistake, but harassment/griefing kills the game for everyone.

Ping spamming is particularly annoying as the only way to block it is to mute all pings, not just the offender.

Yeah but who follows the summoners code anyways....

1.) Supports (WHO DO NOTHING) God I mean a Fat ZERO on the school test (NOTHING) they build a few tank items and Do nothing to support the team in a group fight its annoying as hell.

2.) Pings players who don't use them properly is annoying... Pinging over 7 seconds out when the standard in my book is within 1-3 seconds before your ass is in the lane fighting and killing the enemy like holy hell this gets players killed and enemy ahead.

3.) Junglers who do nothing they see a lane getting camped 3 times in a row they can't do any of the following...

. No counter jungle example their champion can easily win 1v1's vs the enemy jungle . Don't gank properly but take XP/CS From allies throwing them off more. . Don't play a champion that supports group play example (Sejuani)

So over-all are useless and then argue why a game is being lost???

Define constructive feedback if you write a 500 word essay in 3 minutes in a game that is being lost because players don't know what they are doing or should not be playing a said champion in a specific comp players usually just argue and the person saying you should not be playing (X) Champion because that specified champion brings nothing to the fight for (X) reasons) could be considered toxic behavior even if its the flat out truth that some players have no idea what the hell they are doing and the game would have been better off if they played (X) other champion and landed a (CC) stun rather than did nothing.

Over-All no one follows the summoners code these days because most games are either flat out players who do not even use their brains at all or argue all the time its just how it is doesn't matter that I played a off meta mid in 3 games today and bailed out my team 5+ times in a game its still lost because others have no idea what the hell they are doing and in many cases argue / harassment chat in two of my games threatening to report and such.

Oh I thought you were talking about writing "?" in all chat. Spamming pings is pretty annoying too but spamming "?" in chat after every kill is the worst lol.
