When your jungler refuses to listen to reason

I play lots of toplane, which has probably the most oppressive and unfun champions to play against. You can face a mordekaiser, Nasus, Tryndamere, Tahm kench, Illaoi... etc there. Some of these champions are the sort that have to be shut down pre lvl 6 e.g Mordekaiser and Nasus. But for some reason even though I as a toplaner say "gank morde pre 6" or "gank me, nasus musn't stack", some of these junglers completely ignore me. And guess what that Nasus is doing now? he is steamrolling over our team with his stacks, as it is impossible to stop him from farming and Morde, if he gets one kill over his enemy laner, he will steamroll over them like an absolute madlad. So please, junglers, listen to your toplaner, he might know whether he can or cannot stop these ridiculously strong carry champs from carrying the game for the enemy team.

Edit: honestly, it seems that everyone thinks that I only command my teammates XD Let me tell you something, most oif the junglers in this game are bad, they don't apply lane pressure anywhere and end up screwing the game for everyone, so yes, I can give directions to one, but it is not my fault that he ignores me, and still fails to apply lane pressure anywhere else

Nobody is required to listen to you, just as you are not required to listen to anyone else.

If you want to control wnat the jungler is doing, might I suggest you queue up for jungle?

If you cant handle nasus and morde I'd suggest learning your lane before trying to tell people how to play theirs. They're like the poster children of champions who you can beat easily if you understand the basics of your lane.

  1. Nobody is required to listen to anyone else
  2. Nasus and Morde are not champions that "have to be shut down pre 6"
  3. Try playing jungle yourself. As a top lane player you know when its better to gank toplane, and with this knowledge you will gank better than enemy jungler and get free wins.

Nah. "Not ganking a lane" isn't necessarily not knowing what they're doing.

Not knowing what they're doing is not invading the jg Nasus as a fucking Lee and ganking maybe twice around the entire map.

I play a fair amount of jungle and unlike a lot of these commenters I probably listen too much to my laners requesting ganks etc. In the past when someone tells me that they have a tough matchup that they're going to lose unless I gank, the odds favor them losing the lane despite what I do to help them (unless it's an all-out camp.) I've found that I can much more successfully win the game by ganking the lanes that are going to gap the competition if they get a little ahead and then focusing on dragons, tower plates, and rift herald to increase the lead. The best way that I've found to counter a fed top is to get the entire rest of the map fed so that we can take him down as a group. Sometimes you just have to take the beating for the team in lane so that once teamfighting starts you pull out the W's.

Unless the Nasus freezes/has extremely advanced micro or macro AND you don’t know how to break a freeze — most Top champs hard counter Nasus in lane and don’t require JG assistance to solo kill him.

Also not having an entitled attitude toward your teammates (namely, your JG) might help

You can git gud and shut him down by a good freeze and then zone him off.
