how long does it take to get out of dishonorable

So I recently got in a game with a few trolls they got me good and I tilted and ended as a dishonorable from honor lvl 4....yeah, but I wanna ask one simple question I did everything I was told: don't flame, encourage teammates, and carry games around your team, earn a lot of honor. How long does it take to get out of dishonorable because I have been getting countless honors and controlled my temper to the fullest and played around my team more often with positive outcomes through good communication?

From everything I read and combining my own experience with it, it sounds about right that what I read about around a year is the trick. However, for all we know, angry reports from people who just want someone to blame even if you stayed positive and TRIED to do what you could might interfere with that.

I had an account be Dishonourable for 7 months and I had gotten a notification Riot noticed me be reasonable at the 2-month mark but nothing else.

If they refuse to be transparent in how they handle honour, I refused to play that account further. Thank goodness I’m not wasting my patience on an account anymore that could literally be never re-instated to level 1 honour.

Too long.

I'm gonna test if I can work around the system by spamming ARAM and only putting in nice comment like during the Lyte days.

As long as it takes you to stop getting valid reports for tox. Good chat doesn't override bad chat - passive aggression, minor flaming, etc, stuff that won't get you punished directly will stop you from climbing.

If you're asking that question I don't think you've understood the point of honor. This is comparable to people who just want to lose "5 lbs." - it's not a goal, it's a lifestyle.

The things I say out loud to myself about players is horrifying. But that's not against the rules and I finished orange last season. It's stupidly easy to congrats people for taking powers, getting kills, cleaning up waves that threaten towers, or just showing up to lend a hand. Nothing elaborate, just a "nice kill" or "thanks for being there, Ashe" and boom - honored post game.

It's also a bit like speeding on the highway. It's not that you can't speed, you just can't speed more than everyone else at the wrong time. Cops blow by me while I'm doing 85 all the time. At the end of the match, most people go through and say "No, that guy sucked...he was an asshole...oh, wait, that Rammus had a clutch gank, and thanked me I'll honor him." Just don't be the suckiest person and it's not that hard. They can't honor themselves, and if one guys is a bigger asshole, and he fought with someone then you have a 50/50 shot.
